A Colorado Democrat legislator has declared that women should not have the only effective means of defending themselves against a rapist (i.e. a firearm). Despite the fact that firearms are used to save lives and used by women and children against attackers, Rep. Joe Salazar thinks that “safe zones” will somehow prevent a sick monster from attacking a woman:
“It’s why we have call boxes, it’s why we have safe zones, it’s why we have the whistles. Because you just don’t know who you’re gonna be shooting at. And you don’t know if you feel like you’re gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around or if you feel like you’re in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop … pop around at somebody.”
The fact that rapists want women to be disarmed doesn’t seem to mean much to Rep. Salazar.
The false narrative that the Republican party, and the right in general, want to wage a “war on womyn” just because they oppose forcing churches to pay for abortions and enough free contraceptives to sleep with all of Liechtenstein… twice. Considering the Democrats have shown little problem in the past when women are actually in danger, it is not a surprise that it is a Democrat who has decided that rapists need to be protected.
It is the hard-left lunatics who control the Democratic party who are waging a real war on women, not Republicans.
Perhaps it is not gun control we need, but Democrat Politicians control…
