Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.
The focus this time: All genders are valid… except for the real ones.
First, a little mood music:
Carrying on…
Most people think of Ireland as being ultra-Catholic and religious when in reality is is secular and so woke you will be forced to use “preferred” pronouns or get culled.
“[An] indicator of this vice-like grip was illustrated this week with the promotion of ‘pledge packs‘ by both the current Lord Mayor of Dublin, Alison Gilliland, as well as
“Designed to cull transphobic attitudes at a classroom level, the pledge involves students promising to refrain from endorsing intolerant attitudes on ‘queerfolk’, including the improper use of pronouns. Students are also encouraged to share their endeavours on social media with certain students volunteering to send out ‘pledge packs’ to Irish schools.
“In essence it’s an institutional flex by the trans mafia, who while barely existing a decade ago have wormed their way into every educational nook and cranny. We’ve documented before the corporate slush money that keeps the well-oiled lobbying machine running, while the morbid reality of what the industry does to children manifests itself with various horror stories in schools and eventually in prisons.”
Using grammatically correct pronouns can get “action” taken against you at Point Park University.
“On September 13, the Office of Equity and Inclusion notified the student body of Point Park University (PPU) that ‘action could be taken’ against individuals who do not use their classmates’ preferred pronouns.
“…
“The university’s Misgendering, Pronoun Misuse, and Deadnaming Policy states that ‘any individual who has been informed of another person’s gender identity, pronouns, or chosen name is expected to respect that individual.’ If a complaint is filed regarding this policy, ‘action could be taken,’ the email reads.
“‘While the University recognizes the aspect of intent versus impact, we must recognize that regardless of the intent, if an individual is impacted in a harmful way, action could be taken if a complaint is filed,’ the email states.
“The email served to notify students on the university’s anti-discrimination policy for the 2021-2022 academic year.”
Schools can’t let a little thing like biological reality get in the way of teaching, dontchaknow.
“A New Hampshire teenager is suing his school district after he was allegedly suspended from athletics for saying there are ‘only two genders.’
“The Exeter High School freshman said in the suit that he was hit with a one-game football suspension in September stemming from a text conversation he had with another student off school grounds.
“The lawsuit was filed Nov. 4 through an attorney with the Christian organization Cornerstone Action with the claim that he stated a Catholic-based belief that there are only male and female genders, the Portsmouth Herald reported.
“The kid’s lawsuit also claims Exeter’s policy on non-binary gender identity and pronouns infringes on his First Amendment rights.
“The policy says students have the right to be addressed by a name and pronoun of their choosing related to their gender identities and also says those who don’t recognize others’ gender identities or pronouns are violating the policy.
“The student doesn’t deny he violated the policy, the lawsuit says, according to the Herald.
“‘He in fact denied, and will continue to deny, that any person can belong to a gender other than that of “male” or “female”’ the lawsuit says.”
