Forget about “fake news”. The real hotness in journalism is gullibility and stupidity.
Today.com ran an article about a “salad lasagna”, which stemmed from “journalist” Julia Curley finding a Facebook post and after asking for “background” on the poster’s “salad lasagna”, received an obvious joke story by the poster who claimed to be named “Dick Chmeller”… and yet repeated that story, abet slightly toned down, in her article…
