“Public servants” are supposed by be employees of “We the People” and serve the needs of their community. Of course, this is bus a hypothetical… and not a very accurate one far too often.
Mocking the public they allegedly serve, pushing politically correct nonsense, and even outright persecuting those they desire to serve has likely been going on for a long time. But in this day and age, where video can be readily recorded and disseminated across the internet, the petulance of some of these so-called civil servants can be put on display.
Indeed, it can seem almost as if these public employees want to “crucify” people and make an example out of them!
Oh… wait… they really do have that attitude!
While not literally wanting to crucify anyone, this EPA official’s attitude towards oil and gas producers. The relationship is purely antagonistic. Rather than try to help all companies work in an environmentally friendly manner, the attitude by the above EPA official is one of crushing companies that don’t do what the civil servants want!
This attitude is not less worthy of derision, than those public employees who simply want to laze about and mock the public:
Perhaps obnoxious of all are those who in all sincerity push politically correct nonesense, such as pushing the idea of “white privilege” by mocking the Pilgrims
“I want you to say that America was founded by outsiders – say that – who are today’s insiders, who are very nervous about today’s outsiders,” he said in the clip.
“I want you to say, ‘The Pilgrims were illegal aliens,’” he continued. “Say, ‘The Pilgrims never gave their passports to the Indians.’”
These public employees are supposed to work for all of the public, and not just push the divisive ideology of the Progressive left.
Ultimately, public employees are the blood, bones, and sinew that makes up Leviathan. While many, perhaps even most, public employees put in a hard days work and honestly try to do a good job and help people, those who do not form a metathesizing cancer.
In effect, it means that Leviathan does not care about you.
