During one of the earlier GOP primary debates for the 2012 election, “neutral moderator” Scrappy Doo George Stephanopoulis asked out of the blue if the candidates thought that it was Constitutional to ban birth control.
It seemed like a bizarre question as none of the candidates had ever proposed anything of the sort. The logic behind the question became evident as the Democrats increasingly pushed the “war on women” meme and ranted and raved about how Republicans wanted to ban all birth control in addition to tampons while keeping working women in “binders”.
Now, they have tipped their hand, just as Stephanopoulis had, as to what their next line of attack would be: That Republicans were “science-deniers” who opposed vaccinations.
While some Republicans took the bate, arguing for parental rights and control, the real result of this foray into “science denial” has been to demonstrate that the true “anti-science” extremists on vaccination are… the elitist Left!

The highest rate for vaccinations in America is “backwards” and “ignorant” Mississippi. In contrast, it is the “natural holistic” loving elitist Progressive rich who are denying scientific evidence that vaccines are a demonstrable good and don’t cause autism or other maladies.
Of course, even such “scientific” minds such as Obama — stop laughing — raised concerns about the dangers of vaccinations causing autism. And while far-Left nutjobs at “Mother Jones” make fun of Chris Chritie showing support for anti-vaccination parents, they were quickly trying to distance their own “open mindedness” regarding vaccines as the cause of autism.
Students at the University of California, Davis showed their tolerance and acceptance by… shouting “Allahu Akbar” during an Israeli divestment vote.
“But they just oppose Zioinism” one might say. But then one would be wrong:

A teacher berated and physically attacked a child for… trying to eat TWO tacos!
“But when the student returned, [the teacher] Chanel Lemelle allegedly took one of his tacos and told the student ‘he only needed one taco,’ a deputy wrote in the report.
“The witnesses told the deputy that Chanel Lemelle often brought an empty plate to lunch and filled it with food from her students. One of the witnesses also told a deputy that she saw Chanel Lemelle yelling at the same student as he was crying against a wall in a hallway about a week earlier.”

Considering how little food children get under Kinderführerin Michelle Obama’s lunch initiative, taking away even a little is nearly Dickensian.

May I have another Taco?
News of the Week for Febuary 8th, 2015
It there any greater symbol of the hate and evil of The Patriarchy™ that… bacon?

Oppressions is so… tasty.

Just when you thought you might get a handle on all the invented genders come… antigenders!
What are these “antigenders“?

First of all, the opposite of “girl” is “boy”, and the opposite of “boy” is “girl”. Or are “antiboys” and “antigirls” from a mirror universe? Does an “anti-boy” combined with a “boy” to produce pure energy on an matter-antimatter annihilation?
Do you like cheese? If so then you are literally oppressing both Gaia and everyone in the Third World.

This is what oppression looks like!

Quick Takes – Collapse of Marriage, The Secular Inquisition, and Imperial Precedent
Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.
The focus this time: Decline and Fall.
First, a little mood music:
Carrying on…

A professor of sociology has opined how spiffy it is that marriage is dying as a social institution:
“As much as I admire happy couples and families, I think this may be one of the few times in history when so many women could choose from such a full range of life choices without penalty or stigma. Since few people ‘have it all,’ why not choose being single if that’s the best option?”
This is but the celebration of the destruction of one of the key pillars of society and a prelude to our decline and fall:
“[M]arriage developed in human society in answer to a need which is fundamental to most of our species. Whether you approach it from a biblical perspective or an anthropological one, the vast majority of us have a deep seated need to be with someone. To love someone and be loved in return. And, yes, to create new someones who will grow up with the same needs. It’s a survival mechanism which, in many ways, defines us.
“Further, our ability to advance as a society – from the local level to the global one – seems bound to our built-in tendency to pair up and create families. These families, in turn, bond together to form communities where they share their faith, their fears, their dreams, and their mutual need for protection and security. No taskmaster forced us into these arrangements. We fell into them naturally all over the planet.”
Social collapse happens over time, and more and more abandon those mores that built up what we have, and adopt more destructive tendencies.
