Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.
The focus this time: Join hands to gather and ring around the rosie… so we can all fall down.
First, a little mood music:
Carrying on…
Commies really like killing their no-longer-useful citizens, don’t they?
“Cuba on Friday became the second country in Latin America and the Caribbean to authorize euthanasia, following Colombia.
“The Communist-run country’s National Assembly passed the measure as part of legislation updating the nation’s legal framework for its universal and free healthcare system. “The right of people to a dignified death is recognized in end-of-life decisions, which may include the limitation of therapeutic effort, continuous or palliative care, and valid procedures that end life,” the final draft of the legislation stated.”
It seems that the only crazy people in Canada who aren’t liable to be euthanized are the ones running the government there…
“Canada already has one of the most liberal assisted death laws in the world, offering the practice to terminally and chronically ill Canadians.
“But under a law scheduled to take effect in March assisted dying would also become accessible to people whose only medical condition is mental illness, making Canada one of about half a dozen countries to permit the procedure for that category of people.”
The Dutch are so hellbent on euthanasia that they don’t need it pushed on them, even when it comes to killing themselves for having a “completed life”!
“Voters are much more progressive about the D66 bill to allow assisted suicide for people who feel their life is complete than the political parties themselves. A massive 80 percent of voters believe that people should be able to get help in dying when they feel they’ve come to the end of their life, Trouw reports based on a Kieskompas poll of almost 200,000 people.
“Only 10 percent of respondents disagreed with the statement that people who consider their lives complete should be able to end their lives with professional help. The other 10 percent of voters had no opinion on the matter.
“…
“The bill would allow people over 75 to decide when to die with professional help if they feel they’ve reached the end of a completed life. Added to the bill is a six-month process in which they have to meet with an ‘end-of-life counselor’ at least three times.”
TTFN.
