Firing Line Friday: The Selling of the President 1968

     In the hopes of encouraging a more civil, and illuminating, discourse, here is another episode of William F. Buckley, Jr.’s “Firing Line”.

     Elections and politics have always been an exercise in selling wise ideas at best, and carnival barking at worst. This was also the case over half-a-century ago, as explored by William F. Buckley, Jr. and guest Joe McGinnis who explored the selling of the president back in 1968.
