Rage Against the Eschaton

     What truly, is the worst case scenario for America? Perhaps it is this:

     The Cultural Marxists and Progressives have Immanentized the Eschaton and replaced the Organic Superstructure, Liberty and Virtue, of our Civic Heritage, and replaced it, via their “long march through the institutions,” with their own utopian visions.

     It will fail, for it is false and oppressive. Because the people will demand it, rather than have it imposed on them, the damage it will do will be magnified. The designated villains will be demonized as no one has ever been before.

     When it is over, there will be no scrap left of the America that was. We will be a true tabula rasa, and will have to re-figure out what had taken all of human existence to work out. Or, more likely, an foreign culture and ideology will sweep into the vacuum.

     It reminds us of scene from “Revenge of the Nerds“:

Arnold Poindexter, Tri-Lam: OK.

     What then, shall we do in the face of such immanent doom?

     In answer, we are reminded of the words of Dylan Thomas:

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
