Certainly, spelling and grammatical mistakes happen, especially when one is typing away furiously to quickly send out a tweet. Crypto-Progressive and Newark Mayor Cory Booker is certainly no exception:

The irony here, is that while some on the right tittered and his tweet, the media has been generally silent, and even dismissive of this. This stands in stark contrast to the way that Dan Quayle was treated when he “corrected” a student’s spelling of “potato” by adding an “e”… just as the answer card prepared by the boys teacher stated:
