The Revolution Is Coming From The Inside

     Rather than surrendering to the woke mob or foolishly going along with the same due to ignorance, the local governments of riot swept cities agree with the woke revolutionaries but can’t quite come out to admit it, overtly giving out only tacit approval.   However, that mask is quickly slipping, as can be seen by the District Attorney of Multomah County, where Portland is located, happily explaining his “Social Justice” goals with his longtime friend, a “prison and police abolitionist” who works with Communist & terrorist Angela Davis’ campaign to “defund police, abolish prisons & demand reparations”.

     Unlike the stereotype of racist and corrupt sheriffs in the deep South, People like Mike Schmidt revel in subverting justice in the name of justice—truly doublethink in action.

     And what is the result in his beloved modern Sturmabteilung being allowed to run free?

     If people are lucky, innocent people will only be corralled, attacked with weapons, and threatened with severe violence.

If they’re unlucky? They will be beaten severely to the point of unconscious and potentially worse.

Struggle Sessions Come To Sandia National Lab

     Modern day “struggle sessions”, whereby Whites and/or Males (usually both) are taken aside and made to admit how everything is their fault and forced to explain how they will repent their sin of “Whiteness” and/or “Maleness”, are not just limited to hardcore Woke satrapies like Seattle, but moving to scientific institutions including America’s National Laboratories.  Case in point: Sandia National Laboratory.

     Christopher F. Rufo, once again, sheds light on these struggle session by providing the indoctrination materials used. Much of what he goes into detail about is sadly becoming the norm, and increasingly ever-present, especially the use of “intersectionalism”.

     Your humble author has made a few additional observations. Most notably is the insistence that White males respect the “truths” and “realities” of “POC” and women. This was being taught in a national laboratory that has materials and equipment that can literally kill not only a person who applies their alternate “truth” to an experiment but people throughout the facility. For f**ks sake they even have literal death rays, plutonium, and other assorted goodies at national labs!

     Most strangely, the people who put the indoctrination materials together seem obsessed with White men playing golf.

     The part that ought to give people the greatest pause and concern is the odd use of the word “grace”.   Yes, you probably know and can define the word “grace”, but it is pretty clear that they are using some new “woke” definition similar to how the word “racism” gained a new “academic” definition not used by the unwoke masses. Examples of it’s usage:

  • I commit to giving grace and recognizing the courage of others
  • I commit to to concisely and deliberately extending grace and to be careful to not infer intent
  • I commit to exercise tolerance (grace) in my pursuit of truth
  • Law enforcement may give me more grace

Revolution by Proxy

     It has become clear, if it wasn’t already, that these rioter/revolutionaries are acting with the tacit approval of the government. The city, county, and state would do what the revolutionaries are doing if they could get away with it, but have to settle to revolution by proxy.

     One of the primary reasons that the wannabe revolutionaries running amok is such a warning sign for the future of the United States, aside from their ability to organize, is that they are acting with the de facto approval of the state and local governments. This results in these revolting revolutionaries often acting at times carte blanche, or at least with a slap on the wrist when the state and local government leaders want to keep up the illusion of their de jure neutral application of the law. Of course, this isn’t actually anarchy since these same government leaders are more than willing to use government power over those who are not privileged or even guilty of anything.

     Seattle, Portland, and an increasingly larger number of cities are simply engaging in woke kabuki theater. Every woke warrior plays their part, non-hierarchically of course, if by “non-hierarchically” you put thought criminals and the unwoke as outside the system as the other to be dealt with. De jure neutrality coupled with de facto acceptance of revolutionary support is a contradiction and a lie, but therein lies doublethink, and the illusion that likely will last long enough…

History As Myth; Narrative As Truth

     The study of history ought to be about understanding the past as it objectively was, warts and all.   But as with science, all of knowledge is subjective and based on “different ways of knowing”, including history. Even more broadly than science, history is subject to being presented as nothing more than competing myths and biased narratives.

     Such is the case of the infamous “1619” project, that is being taught as fact, or at least the correct myth. It is a dishonest trick that presents facts without explicitly saying that it is a narrative that uses facts to tell one of many possible stories, and that it’s story is the morally correct one, as the person behind the “1619” admits.

     She also went on to state that this isn’t about truth, but of control.

Praxis: Seattle’s Marxist Abolition of Police

     So, Seattle, not one to let Minneapolis run to its Left, is moving to abolish its police department because it is the faunt of “racism and violence” to supprot “white supremacy culture”, and instead institute a “civilian led Department of Community Safety & Violence Prevention”… in other words a type of committee of public safety!

     Specifically the city council Seattle Soviet demands that “Seattle” become “deccriminalized” and replace the police with:

  • “Culturally-relevant expertise rooted in community connections”
  • “Housing, food security, and other basic needs”
  • “Trauma-informed, gender-affirming, anti-racist praxis”

     Note the use of the Marxist term “praxis”, which is a dead give-away of the ironically very, very White basis of the Seattle City Council’s thinking. Unlike “racism”, “justice’, et al., “praxis” is very much an alien term to anyone who isn’t versed in radical Leftism.

     Even your humble author is shocked by how unassumingly a major city of the United States is declaring its institutional privilege, institutional power, and institutional governance—as declared by the word “Praxis”—is to be concentrated towards an outright attack against every fiber, essence, and element of the United States in such a way as to make the Constitution’s Treason Clause seem less like a reasonable, though radical at the time, restriction, and more like a moral imperative.

     The blatant Marxism goes further:

“And finally, the plan demands that the City conduct an ‘immediate transfer of underutilized public land for BIPOC community ownership’—in essence, the redistribution of land, which is a hallmark of Marxist regimes.”

     This is in lock-step with the demands to “[d]ecriminalize Seattle and King County Equity Now” (note again, the use of “equity” as a justification for perpetual racial discrimination, perpetual racial animus, and perpetual racial hate).

Next On The Woke Agenda: Overturning Loving v Virginia?

     The policy of racial inclusion and even of integration, once a hallmark of civil rights, has already been declared to be racist and the cal for “segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever” quite often enough to belie the fact that non-discrimination was never the true goal of the true believes of the Left.   Now, however, the Left seems to want to go further, to the point of wanting to ban interracial relations!

     And, of course, woke White women recognize how this miscegenation is all so problematic.

     It’s only a matter of time before overturning Loving v. Virginia, which itself overturned the bans on interracial marriage, becomes the mandatory woke position.

The Real History of Slavery

     Thomas Sowell is one of America’s leading intellectual treasures. With the demand that America be seen as “systemically racist” (i.e. irredeemably evil) because of the “1619” introduction of slavery to the colonies that became America, thus positioning the “anti-racists” as the only superficially moral alternative, we should eschew such nonsense and better understand the truth, as the esteemed scholar and all around great mind of Thomas Sowell can educate us.

     Arguably, one could claim that he was at least one of the last of the Great Americans.

Anti-Cancellation Clause

     One of the obvious problems with cancel culture in this day and age is the immediacy of cancellation upon any suggestions of “cancellability”. Perhaps one way of staving off the raving hordes whilst not besmirching powers that be is to offer a “neutral” consideration of antagonistic claims. Proposed pro-worker/anti-mob language could include:

“(a) Your employment with the Company will be “at-will.” You may terminate your employment with the Company at any time and for any reason or no reason by notifying the Company. Likewise, the Company

“i. may terminate your employment at any time, [and] [or];

“ii. [save that,] on the occurrence of a Cancellation Event, Company [shall only] [may, in its sole and absolute discretion and in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (b) below, decide to] terminate your employment upon the expiration of any applicable Cool-Down Period,

“in each case, for no reason or any reason, consistent with all applicable state and federal law, and without advance notice. Your employment at-will status can only be modified in a written agreement signed by you and by an authorized officer of the Company.

“(b) Upon the occurrence of a Cancellation Event, [you and the Company agree that, in the Company’s sole and absolute discretion, the Company may require you to take] OR [you and the Company agree that you shall take] a 90-day leave of absence (‘Cool-Down Period’) [in lieu of immediate termination,] [, with or without pay,] while the Company conducts an investigation, subject to such conditions and restrictions as the Company may in its sole and absolute discretion require. During such time you agree that you shall comply with any and all of the Company’s reasonable directions to protect the Company’s reputation including but not limited to deactivation of all social media accounts and making no statements about the Cancellation Event or any fact or circumstance arising out of or in relation to the Cancellation Event to any person except to the Company, to medical and mental health personnel, and attorneys, accountants or other professional services providers for the purpose of seeking professional advice.

“(c) ‘Cancellation Event’ means an event where ten or more persons who are not employees, directors, shareholders, suppliers, customers, or other business relations of the Company or of Affiliates of the Company [‘Affiliate’ to be defined] contact the Company in a seven-day period with disparaging information about you, or call upon the Company to release you from your employment, in each case relating to your or a third party’s personal conduct outside of the scope of your employment which is legal in the United States.”

     It is interesting where the “right” needs such suggested language to protect individuals from the “collective/union” Left so often seen during the recent riots/wannabe-revolutionaries where people have waved anarcho-syndicalist flags with the “Sabo-Cat” proudly emblazoned thereupon.
