Nigel Farage, of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), gave an interview where he made a sane and rational statement: “I think the ban on handguns is ludicrous.”
Unsurprisingly, some freedom-hating Brits think this is a scary idea:

While she sees an indictment. We see a bit of sanity starting to show up.
Farage is only pushing for a mild and limited extension of a fundamental right:
“I would not like us to go to the American System which strikes me as being absolutely crazy that you can go and buy automatic repeating rifles down at a local gun shop that looks more like a supermarket.”
