There is something unique, something wonderful, about our civic heritage which defines us not by geography, or by race or ethnicity. Yet again, MEP Daniel Hannon eloquently points out one of the major roots of this shared value, chief among which is the rule of law and the law of the land — the idea that everyone, is bound by the law and must be subject to it. This unique aspect is embodies in the unique genius of the Magna Carta.

Do not let that great and wonderful inheritance be condemned to the lost annals of history!
