European Commission vs. Thought Criminals

A member of the European Commission, and all around censorious Eurocrat Tierry Breton has openly warred that a -non-European company hosting a chat with a candidate for a non-European public office could be acting illegally due to “disseminating” doubleplusungood wrongthink.

Though the Commission has said that this letter was not formally authorized by them, the European Commission has been waging war against American social media companies, purportedly over privacy reasons but more likely primarily out of jealously.   So even if Breton’s letter isn’t “official”, it does represent the sentiments of the Eurocratic overlords of the E.U.
