This Thanksgiving let us eschew politics for at least one day while we enjoy tasty turkey, the company of kith & kin (provided you can avoid being busted by the COVID-Cops), and marvel at the 500th anniversary of the Mayflower Compact which enshrined the rule of law, equal justice, and government by consent of the governed.
May this, our heritage, endure another 500 years.
