Quick Takes – When All Lives Don’t Matter: Non-Woke Dean’s Lives Don’t Matter; Hate-filled Cambridge Professor’s Life Does Matter; White Lives Don’t Matter

Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.

The focus this time: All lives matter… except for THEM!

     First, a little mood music:

     Carrying on…

One might think that believing that we are all equal and that all our lives matter would be woke.   But then one would be 180° wrong!

“University of Massachusetts-Lowell Dean of Nursing Leslie Neal-Boylan issued an email on June 2 to the Solomont School of Nursing in light of the recent anti-racism demonstrations across the country, sources told Campus Reform. In the message, Neal-Boylan told students that ‘everyone’s life matters.’ Days later, Neal-Boylan was out of a job.

“The sources shared with Campus Reform the email over which Neal-Boylan was allegedly fired.

“‘I am writing to express my concern and condemnation of the recent (and past) acts of violence against people of color,’ Neal-Boylan wrote in the email. ‘Recent events recall a tragic history of racism and bias that continue to thrive in this country. I despair for our future as a nation if we do not stand up against violence against anyone,’ she added.

“‘Dear SSON Community,’ the email provided to Campus Reform begins. ‘I am writing to express my concern and condemnation of the recent (and past) acts of violence against people of color. Recent events recall a tragic history of racism and bias that continue to thrive in this country. I despair for our future as a nation if we do not stand up against violence against anyone. BLACK LIVES MATTER, but also, EVERYONE’S LIFE MATTERS.’

“‘No one should have to live in fear that they will be targeted for how they look or what they believe,’ the provided email continues.

“This sparked controversy among many who received her email. The letter was posted to Twitter by a student who expressed disappointment in the Dean’s ‘everyone’s life matters’ statement.”

So, if all lives don’t matter, which ones don’t? Obviously White people’s.

“A British university defended one of its professors following a petition launched against her after she posted on social media that “white lives don’t matter.”

“Priyamvada Gopal, a professor in colonial and postcolonial literature at Cambridge University, posted a series of tweets Tuesday saying ‘white lives don’t matter’ and ‘abolish whiteness’ and the backlash prompted the university to issue a statement that said that professors have the right to express their opinions, according to Summit News.”

Obviously, she was rewarded for this.

Racism is bad, but violence against someone because of their race is “social justiceif the race the one subjected to violence is White!

“More racist tweets by Cambridge University Professor Priyamvada Gopal have been unearthed, including one in which she spoke about her urge to ‘kneecap white men.’

“Gopal caused controversy last week when she tweeted ‘white lives don’t matter,’ prompting a petition demanding she be fired. However, Cambridge University responded by promoting her to a full professorship, despite the fact that the tweet was censored by Twitter for hate speech.

“The media’s reaction was to portray Gopal as the victim of bullying while feigning infinitely greater outrage over a ‘white lives matter’ banner that was flown over a soccer match in Manchester.

“More hateful tweets have now been discovered, including one discussion where Gopal states, ‘I resist urges to kneecap white men every day. So, no **I** am the hero.’”

Again, this person was rewarded for her racial hatred.
