New York Mayor Bill de Blasio met with the organizers of these “peaceful” protests that marched against the Grand Jury’s decision not to indict police officers for the death of Eric Garner. Unsurprisingly targeted the police for “retraining.”
During the “peaceful” protest the mob openly screamed: “What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want it? Right Now!”
They wanted blood? They got it:
“Two uniformed NYPD officers were shot dead Saturday afternoon as they sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner — in what investigators believe was a crazed gunman’s assassination-style mission to avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown.”

“Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were working overtime as part of an anti-terrorism drill in Bedford-Stuyvesant just before 3 p.m. when they were shot point-blank in the head by lone gunman Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28, who had addresses in Georgia, Maryland and Brooklyn.”
There has been much cheering over the slaughter of these officers by murderer Ismaaiyl Brinsley, who had earlier expressed the desire to “strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of Allah.”
The irony:

Unsurprisingly, Police have been outspoken against de Blasio, going so far as to day that de Blasio “thinks he’s running a f**king revolution” rather than act as a Mayor for all New Yorkers.
And just what was de Blasio’s response? He attacked the police who were upset with him.
That is the problem with hard Left true-believers and their comrades in rabble-rousing. They only care about destroying what they see as an unjust system:
“The political left in this country is comprised primarily of people who have a background as, or the mindset of, ‘community organizers’. The job of a community organizer is to make things worse. They are the ones throwing gasoline on the fire and rubbing salt in the wounds. Their job is to sew turmoil, discord and hate. They work to prevent accord from being reached, to end cooperation between peoples and to head off agreement. They are professional shit stirrers.

“Ideologically, their reason is to destroy western civilization so that it can be replaced with a collectivist Utopia. That’s great and all, but it’s kind of fuzzy. They decry the capitalist and free marketeer as promoting a system based upon the assumption that people act from in own self interest, while at the same time demonstrating all of the traits that they condemn, proving that the capitalist was right in the first place. Human nature is human nature. None of this should surprise anyone who is a student of history, yet somehow it always does.”
All this creates a dangerous situation where police respond to the danger murderous rabble create, with the murderous rabble responding in kind.
