Why Do Companies Go Woke?

     For the vast majority of people, it seemed that wokeness came out of nowhere and spontaneously became dominant (while some of us have been ignored in our warnings like a bunch of Cassandras). But how did wokeness so rapidly go from alien to businesses to becoming said businesses raison d’être? This paper examines and attempts to answer this question.
