What better excuse to make potential dissenters within a regime disappear than a gold old fashioned assassination attempt? Why, none, of course. Whether this drone attack was a “false flag” operation or an honest attempt to get ride of Venezuela’s own anal boil is irrelevant at this point, ‘twould seem.
Meanwhile, as Maduro enjoys getting rid of enemies, the people of Venezuela continue their ever downward spiral of suffering, now without any way to save dying infants, or even without water! That entire Venezuelan states are without electric power for days is of no concern to the tyrant Maduro.
All shitty memery aside this is actually happening right now.
Most of my birth state has been without electricity for nearly three whole days now and there's barely any media coverage of that emergency here. pic.twitter.com/vZslWCALyT

And how does Maduro deal with this? By laughably hiding the hyper-inflation by ordering a 96% devaluation of its currency! Of course, the Bolivar as currency is probably the last thing that the resurgence of pirates (yes, actual pirates of the Caribbean, and not the Disney-fied version) who are plaguing the people.
What else can the people do aside from flee? If things get much worse, they won’t even be able to do that.
Venezuela is an abject lesson on exactly why populism and socialism are even more deadly in combination than either alone.
