One Response to Ecological Justice Math

  1. avatar Julie near Chicago says:

Now Anthony Watts takes a little different view of things. His outrageous claim is that the P-bear Pop has *RISEN* from ~5000 in the ’60’s to roughly 25,000 nowadays.

Imagine trying to pawn such drivel off on innocent school children! Next thing, they’ll be trying to persuade ’em that good red meat is good for ’em!*

I certainly hope “Socialist Studies” takes note and updates its churlish attitude toward nonsense so as to exhibit sadness in the face of self-evident truth. Or even self-evident untruth.

*Is the Weather Channel trying to subvert the agendas of the vegans, PETA, and healthy-eating gurus generally, by pushing a line that meat is actually good for us? Consider this paragraph, from a story (with photos) of “the coldest permanent settlement on Earth,” Oymyakon, in Russia:

“…[C]rops cannot be grown in Oymyakon. The population survives on mostly meats. … In daily life, we like eating the soup with meat. The meat is a must. It helps our health much.”
