Chris Matthews Goes Full Bolshevik

MSNB☭’s Chris Matthews taken up the 100 year old mantle of disgruntled anarchists, Socialist Revolutionaries, Mensheviks, and most notably, Bolsheviks by denouncing what he purports to be the modern day Romanovs: The family of Donald Trump.

And, this being MSNB☭, we are reminded “what happened to the Romanovs”.

Quick Takes – The Ochlocracy: Censorship; Bullying; and Rebellion

Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.

The focus this time: Vox Popuii; Vox Tyrannis

     First, a little mood music:

     Carrying on…

When “democracy” becomes just a synonym for “people power” by an obsessed few who view themselves as a vanguard

“However, events of the past week have convinced me that one of the fastest-growing censorship threats on the Internet today comes not from nation-states, but from super-empowered individuals who have been quietly building extremely potent cyber weapons with transnational reach.

“More than 20 years after Gilmore first coined that turn of phrase, his most notable quotable has effectively been inverted — ‘Censorship can in fact route around the Internet.’ The Internet can’t route around censorship when the censorship is all-pervasive and armed with, for all practical purposes, near-infinite reach and capacity. I call this rather unwelcome and hostile development the ‘The Democratization of Censorship.'”

Of course, as bad as that is, at least is it not the state itself… yet.

The Gramscian March and the Suiciding of the West

The term “suicided” refers to a homicide that appears to be, or at least is ruled to be, a suicide. One of the tropes of the Left is that Western Civilization, be it Capitalism, the Patriarchy, or White supremacy, will inately eat itself, and thus, in a sociatal way, commit suicide.

The Gramscian March, which has been the slow infiltration and mutation of key elements of society as a vanguard to total conversion, is, in effect, a “suiciding” of the West.

Eric Raymond, at the Armed and Dangerous blog, wrtoe over a decade ago about this “Gramscian damage”, and in light of the Left’s reaction to a rather Trumpian upheavel and their premature outing of themselves during the giddy days of Obama’s ascendency, it remains prescient and continuously so.

“[T]he Soviets, following the lead of Marxist theoreticians like Antonio Gramsci, took very seriously the idea that by blighting the U.S.’s intellectual and esthetic life, they could sap Americans’ will to resist Communist ideology and an eventual Communist takeover. The explicit goal was to erode the confidence of America’s ruling class and create an ideological vacuum to be filled by Marxism-Leninism.

“Accordingly, the Soviet espionage apparat actually ran two different kinds of network: one of spies, and one of agents of influence. The agents of influence had the minor function of recruiting spies (as, for example, when Kim Philby was brought in by one of his tutors at Cambridge), but their major function was to spread dezinformatsiya, to launch memetic weapons that would damage and weaken the West.”

And nothing better destroys a society, than declaring it an evil propagating hatred and oppression, controlled by some type of eeevil Kyriarchy, with the proffered moral mandate being to destroy it.

“[T]he idea that rights inhere not in sovereign individuals but identity groups, and that every identity group (except the ‘ruling class’) has the right to suppress criticism of itself through political means up to and including violence.”

This moral jujitsu serves to trick people into thinking that their virtues were really vices, because they could not live up to some utopian ideal. Thus, people are tricked into destroying their own society with the motivation of destroying a fictitious vice — a motivation that is fueled by a veritable virtue!

All Your Healthcare Are Belong To California

If you live in California, your healthcare and very life may end up the dispensation of the state via a single-payer system administered by a panel of nine healthcare ringwraiths:

“Under the proposal, which was announced in February, the state would cover all medical expenses for every resident regardless of their income or immigration status, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency services, dental, vision, mental health and nursing home care.

“Insurers would be prohibited from offering benefits that cover the same services as the state.

“The program would eliminate co-pays and deductibles, and patients would not need to get referrals to see eligible providers. The system would be administered by an unpaid nine-person board appointed by the governor and the Legislature.”

Amongst the many, many problems with this is the fact that there is no funding mechanism. Insurance profits are already thin and getting thinner for private providers. Rather than somehow become lean and efficient, healthcare will go the same route as public education: Costly and of bad quality.

Of course, there are alternatives, primarily saving money by just killing off the patient. Where euthanasia is legal, we are already seeing doctors being forced to kill patients against the patients will complete with calls for live organ harvesting. And euthanasia is now legal in California.

Since private insurance would be illegal, the state, via the nine Nazgûl, could easily condemn people to death by refusing to help them and prohibiting their getting any insurance that might help. All this in the name of “equality” and insuring that everyone is covered—because harming millions is worth it just as long as everyone is equally screwed.

Meanwhile… In California.

Of course, the rich could pay out of pocket or seek treatment elsewhere. Because “some… are more equal than others.”

Glaciers are People Too

India, not wanting to limit itself in equaling New Zealand by declaring rivers to have human rights, has now extended such rights to… glaciers.

“An Indian court granted Himalayan glaciers status as ‘legal persons’” on Friday in a new conservation strategy that seems to be gathering momentum quickly.

“Less than three weeks ago, New Zealand granted similar status to a river – the Whanganui. Just days later on March 20, India followed suit for the Ganga and Yamuna rivers. Now the Gangotri and Yamunotri glaciers as well as waterfalls, forests, lake, meadows and other environmental features in the area have all been granted legal rights as ‘living entities.’

“…

“‘The rights of these entities shall be equivalent to the rights of human beings and any injury or harm caused to these bodies shall be treated as injury or harm caused to human beings,’ Uttarakhand’s highest court said in its ruling”.

With an extension of human rights to a hunk of ice, it is only a matter of time before so-called anti-discrimination laws will allow people to be sued for misgendering glaciers

Progressive Logic: How Racial Exclusion Begets Diversity

In the name of creating a “multicultural playgroup” at a public park in Australia, White Australians have been expelled and excluded therefrom, as White 4th generation Australian mother Tara Coverdale found out.

“When she arrived, her red-haired son raced off to play while she looked around for her friend.

“That was when a staff member approached and asked if it was her first day. Coverdale thought how nice that she was so attentive.

“‘I’m sorry you can’t come here. It’s a multicultural playgroup.’

“But then the woman said: ‘Can I ask what your cultural background is?’

“Taken aback, Coverdale, who has blonde hair and freckles, said: ‘I’m Australian’.

“Immediately, the woman said: ‘I’m sorry, you can’t come here. It’s for multicultural families and people who speak languages other than English at home.’

“Coverdale stood her ground: ‘I said “I’m not leaving”. My kids were playing. My older son was having such a good time with his buddy, and I thought, “Why should I leave?”‘”

“But then the centre ‘facilitator’, aka manager, Jo Fletcher, confronted her: ‘Can I just ask what your cultural background is.'”

“When Coverdale said she was fourth-generation Australian, Fletcher said: ‘I’m sorry you can’t come here. It’s a multicultural playgroup.’

“‘We’re in a pretty progressive area,’ says Coverdale. ‘It’s very accepting of all people. But I feel like I’m excluded.'”

How do Progressives deal with this seeming hypocrisy and square this circle?

The concept of “equity” and seen through the lens of “social justice”.

No dogs and White Australians allowed.

White people are deemed to have power and privilege because the Left considers Western Civilization to be created for the sole purpose of creating intersectional systems of oppression. Whiteness, particularly of the Anglospheric vein, is a mystical miasma of malfeasance the pervades all aspects of society. Since it is so dominating and oppressive, “diversity” is not possible while this “Whiteness” is around, and any “multicultural” space is crackerfied into an undiverse “White space” which would be its very presence be oppressive and unicultural.

Thus, by excluding White people—especially those Whites who are native to the oppressive dominate culture—the “oppression” caused by the mere existence of such a wicked race allows for “multiculturalism” and “diversity”. This is so even if the “diverse” group is a strict monoculture of its own for the simple reason that the miasma of “Whiteness” perpetually lingers.

This is why “equity” is pushed the way it is: It allows for the designated oppressor groups to be relegated to a less than equal presence or influence, down to and including absolute exclusion. If you let actual White people in, then their aura of “Whiteness” will commit cultural genocide by the mere existence of White people.

The Climate Inquisition vs. The Heresy of Science

The following was obtained as a note attacked to a comfy chair that was recently delivered…

Pictured: Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva, Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, and Rep. Bobby Scott

NOBODY expects the Climate Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise…surprise and fear…fear and surprise…. Our two weapons are fear and surprise…and ruthless efficiency…. Our three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency…and an almost fanatical devotion to Gaia…. Our four…no… Amongst our weapons…. Amongst our weaponry…are such elements as fear, surprise….

It has been divinely revealed to Gaia’s Holy Inquisition that climate “scientists” former Arizona State University climatologist Dr. Craig D. Idso, James Cook University marine geology and paleontology professor Robert M. Carter, and University of Virginia environmental scientist Dr. Fred Singer, are accused of heresy on three counts — heresy by thought, heresy by word, heresy by deed, and heresy by action — four counts.

The evidence is clear, and these “scientists” why deny the holy word of St. Michael Mann of the Hockey Stick, in their heretical work “Why Climate Scientists Disagree About Global Warming“.

We expect that the professors of true climate justice destroy such heretical works—obviously not by burning because that would be a climate sin in the eyes of Gaia—but by turning the books into hamster mulch for use by all hamsters everywhere (except for those hamsters…).

These heretics shall be punished if they don not repent… though we plan on punishing them anyways…

Birds, Tomatoes, and Sharks, Oh My

The “Sharknado” movies, which involve sharks being airborne and transported inland by adverse whether events, have been seen as ridiculous with no bearing on reality. This is similar to the 1978 movie “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes”.

The opening credits to “Attack of the Killer tomatoes” began with the following screen scroll:

“In 1963, Alfred Hitchcock made a motion picutre entitled ‘The Birds,’ a film which depicted a savage attack upon human beings by flocks of the winged creatures.

“People laughed.

“In the fall of 1974, 7 million black birds invaded the town Hopkinsville, Kentucky, resisting the best efforts of mankind to dislodge them.

“No one is laughing now.”

While no one has been killed by an uprising of tomatoes (that we are aware of), the idea of sharks being carried by a weather event inland is no longer the realm of fantasy.

“Northeastern Australia is still dealing with the aftermath of Cyclone Debbie, which swept across the Queensland coast on Tuesday, causing widespread damage with winds up to 185 kph (114 mph).

“…

“But the discovery of a huge dead bull shark in floodwaters near Ayr, just south of Townsville, is likely to give some residents pause.”

An Obvious Suggestion for Green Groups Wanting to Reduce CO2 Emissions

Ever get the feeling that some environmental groups are willfully oblivious to solutions to the environmental problems they claim?

“Idjits…”

Ask a silly question, and get a facepalm inducing answer demonstrated.

“The sponsors of an environmental conference flew roughly 50 college students to Washington, D.C., Tuesday to discuss ways to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions to prevent global warming.

“…Bloomberg Government and the environmental group Defend Our Future hosted ‘The Next Generation of Climate Conversations: A Town Hall Discussion’ conference

“…

“Bringing the students to D.C. was the equivalent of cutting down about 620 trees in terms of CO2 emissions”.

Pro-tip: If you want to reduce CO2 emissions, you can start by not flying in people to brainstorm when you can just telecommute…
