California Est Omnis Divisa In Partes Tres

Yet another attempt is being made by Silicon Valley capitalist Tim Draper to divide the state of California up into multiple states, this time into three states. A previous attempt, also by Draper, would have split California into six states with two of the six being Republican leaning and one and possibly in the future two states being “purple”.

Here we present a quick look at what this might mean politically.

The Division

First let us look at how the state would be broken up:

Of note, unlike the “Six Californias” proposal, all new states would have coastline with large industrial ports available. However, one of the states, the purely coastal rump “California” would be dependent on the new “Southern California” for water since the aqueducts that slake the thirst of Los Angeles run from the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, thus giving the new “Southern California” quite a big of leverage vis a vis “California”.

Education

When it comes to education, specifically the highest tier of post-secondary education, the University of California, the new “Northern California” would win the lionshare of campuses, due to it being the historic population center in the 19th century, with UC Davis, UC Berkeley, UC San Fransisco (medical schoo only), UC Merced, and UC Santa Cruz falling within its border. In Contrast “Southern California would only have three: UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC San Diego. “California” would only have UC Los Angeles and UC Santa Barbara.

House of Representative and Electoral College

Assigning House seats up by taking the current number (53) and assign them according to the percent of the California’s population in each, rounding appropriately, we get:

  • “California” = 16
  • “Northern California” = 18
  • “Southern California” = 19

Thus in each state would have the following electoral votes:

  • “California” = 18
  • “Northern California” = 20
  • “Southern California” = 21

The Ultimate in Social Justice: Genocide

The racially obsessed Left have for some time now embraced the wokeness and social justice of being anti-miscegenationists. A White sociology professor from the City University of New York’s Hunter College, Jessie Daniels, makes this clear:

“[I]f you’re white + forming a family w/ multiracial children + not dealing w/ your own racism or systemic white supremacy, how’s that helping?”

So does that mean this woke professor holds the same view as White nationalists and identitarians that Whites should only have racially pure White babies?
That wouldn’t be woke.

“‘Part of what I’ve learned is that the white-nuclear family is one of the most powerful forces supporting white supremacy,’ she wrote.

“White people having children facilitates ‘transfer of wealth’ and the “outright worship of “the sanctity of the family” which pervades pop culture,’ Daniels continued.

“‘I mean, if you’re a white person who says they’re engaged in dismantling white supremacy, but + you’re forming a white family + reproducing white children that “you want the best for” – how is that helping + not part of the problem?'”

In other words, the only way to achieve Social Justice is the genocide of the White race, something that the professor makes clear:

“To be truly committed to fighting white supremacy, Daniels suggest, whites must not reproduce, must not own homes, and must not be ‘afraid of hurting their family’s feelings if they confront them about racism,’ because white supremacy will reign until whites confront their family’s ‘participation in systemic white supremacy.'”

It might be a “soft genocide” where the extinction happens due to lack of replacement Whites, but a genocide it is.

To the modern woke Progressive, their is no higher “social justice” than the elimination of the genetically evil…

Woke Racial Segregation Comes To Canada

Canada, the land that made a blithering “male feminist” Prime Minister, has yet again demonstrated just how woke it is!

     How?

Some no-name Colombian-Canadian singer “asked white audience members to move to the back of the concert hall and people of color to move to the front during her Halifax Pop Explosion gig at the Marquee Ballroom in Nova Scotia’s capital  last month … [while her] request was nothing new — it’s often part of her shows — this time it apparently was met with some resistance”.

However, this time one volunteer at the music festival stood up against the clear expression of privilege and demonstration of power:

“A white female volunteer who was reportedly there to photograph the show — along with several other white audience members — reacted to the singer’s desire to get ‘brown girls to the front’ with what festival officials called ‘aggressive’ and ‘overt racism'”.

So, demanding to not being discriminated at a music festival is an act of “aggressive … overt racism”?

The volunteer was then not only kicked out of the festival for refusing to be racially segregated, but the Halifax Pop Explosion said that they’d provide its volunteers in the future with re-educationanti-oppression and anti-racism training“.

100 Years Ago, America Entered The Great War

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the American entry to the “Great War”, which to arch-Progressive and arch-Racist (but I repeat myself) Woodrow Wilson, was but an excuse to exercise absolute power over the United States of America…

Though begun as “Armistice Day,” Veterans Day has expanded in the United States as a day for all those brave men and women who fight to keep us free.

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, let us remember they who risked everything for freedom even despite the follies of their political leaders., including their very lives.

Broken America

Sometimes it can be difficult to diagnose the problem with America when you are in America and effected by what’s going on in ways that you may not notice. Sometimes it takes a conservative view from the outside to properly look in and assess neutrally and fairly.

Gavin McInnes and Stefan Molyneux share some rather insightful comments below:

Quick Takes – The Modern Academic: Unbound From The Constitution; Decentered From English; Pledged To Goodthink

Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.

The focus this time: The New New Soviet Man Non-Gender Specific Person

First, a little bit of mood music:

     Carrying on…

So much for the Constitution being the “supreme law of the land“…

“[Student Body President of UC Berkeley] claims that the university is not bound to the constitution, but only to the ‘code of conduct which denounces hate speech'”

     Why?

Because UC Berkeley even in part hinted that they allowed doubleplusungood speakers to say doubleplusungood things…

Well, there’s only one way to combat “H8” speech…

Heterosexual Questionnaire Answered

Some students at Clemson University were required to fill out a “heterosexual questionnaire”, or else fail a required course. The questions are clearly statements regarding homosexuality with heterosexuality substituted therefor in order to make straight students gain “insight” into oppression and discrimination… or would if it wasn’t so blatantly silly. The Clemson questionnaire is similar to one published by the “Lesbian & Gay Issues: A Resource Manual or Social Workers“.

As such, your humble author will take this “questionnaire”!

     Let’s begin!

  1. What do you think caused your heterosexuality?

Being born into a sexually dimorphic species where one of the most basic impulses is to reproduce, something which is done with two individuals of the opposite sex. It’s not like heterosexuality has nothing to do with the continuation of the species.

  1. When and how did you first decide you were a heterosexual?

     When nature took its course.

  1. Is it possible that your heterosexuality is just a phase you may grow out of?

No more than possible than all sexually dimorphic species non-breeding themselves out of existness due to wokeness…

  1. Is it possibility that your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?

     Wait, LOL wut?

  1. If you’ve never slept with a person of the same sex, is it possible that all you need is a good gay lover?

They don’t have the parts I’m biologically driven to couple with in order to fulfill the natural inclination to reproduce.

  1. To whom have you disclosed your heterosexual tendencies?

Oh, I’ve disclosed more than just tendencies, IYKWIMAITTYD.

  1. Why do you heterosexuals feel compelled to seduce others into your lifestyle?

     See answer to № 5.

  1. Why do you insist on flaunting your heterosexuality? Can’t you just be what you are and keep it quiet?

     I don’t “flaunt” it.

  1. Would you want your children to be heterosexual, knowing the problems they’d face?

     Yes.

  1. A disproportionate majority of child molesters are heterosexuals. Do you consider it safe to expose your children to heterosexual teachers?

     O Rly?

  1. Even with all the societal support marriage receives, the divorce rate is spiraling. Why are there so few stable relationships among heterosexuals?

Because the Left have destroyed the mores of society and eliminated as a norm the pillar to society that a family, united by a man and woman in marriage who have and raise their offspring, provided?

  1. Why do heterosexuals place so much emphasis on sex?

  1. Considering the menace of overpopulation, how could the human race survive if everyone were heterosexual?

There is no menace of overpopulation. If anything it is the dearth babies that is dooming Western Civilization, amongst other first world countries.

  1. Could you trust a heterosexual therapist to be objective? Don’t you fear that the therapist might be inclined to influence you in the direction of his or her own leanings?

They’d be far less likely to push some idiotic agenda with pseudo-science.

  1. How can you become a whole person if you limit yourself to compulsive, exclusive heterosexuality and fail to develop your natural, healthy homosexual potential?

The same way I can become a whole person by limiting myself to compulsive, exclusive relations with human beings?

  1. There seem to be very few happy heterosexuals. Techniques have been developed that might enable you to change if you really want to. Have you considered trying aversion therapy?

     Happy Happy Joy Joy?

     So, I guess I’d get an F-, I assume…

Public Schools and the Hajj

In Islam, the Hajj “is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, and a mandatory religious duty for Muslims that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by all adult Muslims who are physically and financially capable of undertaking the journey, and can support their family during their absence. It is one of the five pillars of Islam, alongside Shahadah, Salat, Zakat, and Sawm.”

This being innately religious, one could be forgiving that this would be treated in the same way that the Stations of the Cross would be taught in a public school. One, however, forgets that the Left have no problem with the mixing of Mosque and State, as Newton, Massachusetts has demonstrated.

“In one class assignment [page 216] entitled ‘Cities: Connecting the Islamic World,’ students become pretend Muslims. The teacher writes: ‘As our concluding project on the Islamic world, you will work in groups to simulate a historical hajj (pilgrimage) to Mecca in class. Each of you will be part of a group of Muslim pilgrims from one of the following eight Islamic cities or regions, around a rough time period.’ The teacher then lists out eight ‘Islamic’ cities (which includes Jerusalem, by the way). Each group of students is told they will set up a ‘tent’ (presumably imaginary?) which will display newspaper articles the students have written about ‘their’ cities and cultural artifacts they have created to represent their Islamic ‘hometowns.’

“Imagine for a moment if the classroom assignment were to pretend to be part of a group of Christian pilgrims visiting Rome to attend Mass given by the pope in St. Peter’s Square, or a group of orthodox Jews visiting the Wailing Wall to pray, and each student had to write articles and bring artifacts from their ‘Christian’ or ‘Jewish’ city. I suspect Newton’s liberals would be outraged and ACLU lawyers would have a field day on talk shows about ‘separation of church and state.'”

This is yet another example of how the Left’s protestation about any violation of “church and state” is nothing more than a desire to purge Christianity (and by extension, any bit of Western Civilization they can attach thereto), selectively apart from any and all other religions (well, perhaps Judaism as well).

Charter of the Forest — Still Relevant After 800 Years

Eight hundred years ago today, Henry III of England signed the Carta de Foresta, better known by its English translation: The Charter of the Forest.

It was a rejection of the “Norman Yoke” and the restriction of lands from public use of commoners to the exclusive and reserved use as a royal demesne or other “forested” area. Forest meaning “an enclosed area where the monarch (or sometimes another aristocrat) had exclusive rights to animals of the chase and the greenery (“vert”) on which they fed”.

The Charter of the Forest reaffirmed the fundamental rights of the people to use public land and lands they had a right to use, more generally, that had been “forested” by the monarch, the monarch being the sovereign (i.e. the state power). Today, in England, this is taken as a proto-environmental (or “green) charter, the argument being that “the people” through democracy can preserve nature and keep out “teh eeevil corporations”. This, however, belies the fact that they are calling for the state power to control and restrict usage of such common and public land, abet a state power that involves democracy (more or less) rather than the absolutism of the monarch. Rather than a call to remove a Norman “yoke”, it has mutated into a call for an altogether perhaps even more restrictive yoke superficially painted “vert”. While the Charter of the Forest mentioned stewards of the forest, these stewards were to maintain the forests for common (i.e. public) use free from the arbitrary and capricious power of the state or the power of those enshrined with privileges by the state. It was not government land that was pledged to a fictitious public collective will that the public might be allowed to simply enjoy, but public land that the commoner could themself by right use, the role of the state being one of a duty towards those public lands as a servant, rather than a master.

Perhaps this is due to being a native born denizen of Western America, but the Charter of the Forrest has a far more relevant connection to the state of large swaths of many Western states being Federal land, with this being in most Western states well over half of all land. The public (and common man/woman) have had to suffer permanent control by the Federal government over what is ostensibly public land that they, the public, have a right to use, and under increased restrictions and control by the Federal government including the increase in designation (i.e. the “foresting”) of land as a “national monument”—a situation that half a century ago sparked the Sagebrush Rebellion.
