In the hopes of encouraging a more civil, and illuminating, discourse, here is another episode of William F. Buckley, Jr.’s “Firing Line”.
The U.K. is now suffering from yet another Labour ministry following and building upon the incompetency of a previous Tory administartion. Half a century ago a similar situation was at hand, which William F. Buckley, Jr. discussing the British mess, with the First Lady of British Politics Margaret Thatcher, then newly minted leader of the Conservative Party and later Prime Minister, with additional discussion with Michael Kramer, Sam Roberts, Jeff Greenfield.
