Firing Line Friday: Abortion Laws: Pro and Con

     In the hopes of encouraging a more civil, and illuminating, discourse, here is another episode of William F. Buckley, Jr.’s “Firing Line”.

     Before Roe v. Wade, the question of abortion was up to the democratic process in each individual state. With the Supreme Court yet again considering whether abortion is a Federally protected Constitutional right, or if there is no such Constitutional right with regulation of abortion up to the states, let us look back at a pre-Roe debate between William F. Buckley, Jr., Roy Lucas, and John Thomas Noonan to see what the future of the abortion debate might yet bring again.
