You have a diverse bag of tricks – the Dispel Harassment buff, the Incriminating Screenshot Fireball, not to mention Summon Someone Who Knows What They’re Talking About. What’s the good of having all those spells if you don’t have the mana to cast them? Strap a nice blue potion of mana around your neck and make sure that you’re never without your powers.
Not being content to slaughter birds in California with taxpayer subsidized death rays, a new experimental device, which harnesses energy from the sun’s atomic fusion in the form of photons, has been tested in Tonopah, Nevada.
It’s test run has apparently been a success; 130 birds were killed by concentrated solar radiation, some outright bursting into flames:
“[A]bout two hours into the test, engineers and biologists on site started noticing ‘streamers’ – trails of smoke and steam caused by birds flying directly into the field of solar radiation. What moisture was on them instantly vaporized, and some instantly burst into flames – at least, until they began to frantically flap away. An estimated 130 birds were injured or killed during the test.”

Shouts of “treason” have risen from the Left over an open letter to Iran by Sen. Tom Cotton (R – AR), and forty-six other Republican Senators. They claim that Sen. Cotton violated the Logan Act, which prohibits Americans negotiating with foreign governments.
But is that really so? Funny how this is only violated when it is a Republican doing it! Even left-wing Media Matters had previously declared that merely speaking with a foreign leader was totes legit!
“According to a 1975 State Department statement, which was noted in a February 1, 2006, report on the Logan Act by the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service: ‘The clear intent of this provision … is to prohibit unauthorized persons from intervening in disputes between the United States and foreign governments. Nothing in [the law], however, would appear to restrict members of the Congress from engaging in discussions with foreign officials in pursuance of their legislative duties under the Constitution.'”
But then, the Democrats have hardly been morally consistent about these things.

Shouts of “treason” have risen from the Left over an open letter to Iran by Sen. Tom Cotton (R – AR), and forty-six other Republican Senators. The central point of the letter was that anything Obama does isn’t frozen in stone:
“[W]e will consider any agreement regarding your nuclear-weapons program that is not approved by the Congress as nothing more than an executive agreement between President Obama and Ayatollah Khamenei. The next president could revoke such an executive agreement with the stroke of a pen and future Congresses could modify the terms of the agreement at any time.”
The Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif replied that it was illegal to undo a sole-executive agreement signed by Obama:
“Zarif expressed astonishment that some members of US Congress find it appropriate to write to leaders of another country against their own President and administration. He pointed out that from reading the open letter, it seems that the authors not only do not understand international law, but are not fully cognizant of the nuances of their own Constitution when it comes to presidential powers in the conduct of foreign policy.
“…
“The Iranian Foreign Minister added that ‘Change of administration does not in any way relieve the next administration from international obligations undertaken by its predecessor in a possible agreement about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.’ He continued ‘I wish to enlighten the authors that if the next administration revokes any agreement with the stroke of a pen, as they boast, it will have simply committed a blatant violation of international law.'”
Unsurprisingly, the usual suspects gleefully declared that an agent of a tyrannical regime “schooled” Sen. Cotton. But did they?
First it should be noted that Cotton is clearly referring to domestic law, and not international law. Some claims that this is nonetheless “binding” on all future Presidents, Congress, and perhaps even the Supreme Court:

The cases (United States v. Belmont 301 U.S. 324 (1937) and United States v. Pink, 15 U.S. 203 (1942)), only establish that a sole-executive agreement can exist and be enforceable. I does not declare the agreement immutable. If recognizing the Soviet Union as a legitimate country (via the Litvinov Agreement) is such an exercise, then wouldn’t the recognition of the People’s Republic of China as China violate previous recognition of the Republic of China (Taiwan), especially as both existed and still exist today?
There are plenty of opinions contrary to Zarif. Ironically enough, one such line of reasoning originates with Sec. of State John Kerry:
“Secretary of State Kerry justifies this decision [that future Presidents are bound by such agreements] on the theory that the president has the inherent authority to execute foreign policy.
“If so, the next president has the same inherent authority and can exercise it by reversing course. Only a ratified treaty would legally constrain the next president”.
Taking tasty tacos away from children isn’t just for mean and abusive teachers anymore… now Michelle Obama herself has gotten in on the nefarious elimination of “unhealthy” but tasty tacos.

Surprisingly, Michelle Obama deigned to respond to the peasant… by bribing him with “Bo and Sunny trading cards and a note from Mrs. Obama that said you’ll get used to it.”
A member of Planet Fitness gym was purged from membership for being insufficiently enlightened with proper thinking. What was the throughtcrime that Yvette Cormier committed? Simply expressing concern that a man was using the women’s and she felt unsafe that a “penis person” could stroll around naked with unwilling naked women. As CNN notes:
“She [the woman who complained] went to the front desk after someone who looked like a ‘man’ entered the women’s locker room while she was changing.
“‘I wanted to know why there was a man in the women’s locker room,’ she told CNN. ‘He looked like a man, and that’s what stopped me in my tracks.’
“She said the front desk employee told her about Planet Fitness’ ‘no-judgment’ policy, which allows people to use changing room based on ‘their sincere, self-reported gender identity.’
“Unsatisfied, she said she called Planet Fitness’ corporate headquarters and heard the same thing.
“…
“‘If you have male parts you don’t need to be in the women’s locker room. I don’t care what you are; I don’t care if you’re gay lesbian, transgender or transvestite. I am uncomfortable with you as a male in my locker room, in my restroom.'”
Note how CNN refers to a man as a “man” because the guy says he feels like a girl inside. Ironically, Cormier is anything but some right-wing reactionary:
“Cormier does not see it that way. But she agrees with LGBT advocates on one potential solution: unisex, single-stall bathrooms.”
But that isn’t good enough. Women’s rights and concern about “rape culture”? It’s only useful when attacking straight cis-gendered men. But raising those concerns is doubleplusungood when used against those higher up in the victim hierarchy, namely Trannies. Like it or not, you will not only be made to care, but to accept the approved “truth”.
Remember, 2 + 2 = 5, but 2 + 2 = 3 at the same time.
Planet Fitness responded with this statement:
“Planet Fitness is committed to creating a non-intimidating, welcoming environment for our members. Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use all gym facilities based on their sincere self-reported gender identity. The manner in which this member expressed her concerns about the policy exhibited behavior that management at the Midland club deemed inappropriate and disruptive to other members, which is a violation of the membership agreement and as a result her membership was cancelled.”
The irony is that this tranny, who goes by the name Carlotta Sklodowska, is only a part time cross-dresser that is actually a heterosexual man! He has taken no hormones or had any surgery. To whit: He is a pervert and a creep… and not even a member of the gym!
Courts in the United States have struck blows against duo-normative oppression, and the vanguard against duo-normative oppression has been from the United States… but the true victory for non-duo-normative values comes from… Thailand!
Three men have married each other according to Buddhist ritual.:
