Nicaraguan Violence & Venezuelan Breaking Points

     Demonstrating in Nicaragua that when the going gets tough for Communists, the Communists get tough on the people—with violence. Not only is Nicaraguan dictator Daniel Ortega happily massacring dozens at a time, but he has gone so far as to make the Catholic church an enemy. Seriously, how far to the Left do you have to be for the Catholic church in Latin America to despise you? It has gotten so bad, that even the European Union is recognizing that this horror needs to stop.

     Demonstrating that a slower more painful horror is an alternative, Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela has left the people so starved they are butchering donkeys for food. Further demonstrating the bounty of socialism, public transportation has all but disappeared with “dog carts” filling in therefore.

     With inflation reaching one million percent, Venezuelans will do anything to escape, even if it means becoming victims of human trafficking.   Indeed the physical and economic damage socialism reaps is nothing compared to the human cost, which is not so easily repaired.

     Ignoring the fact that America is a Western civilization whose basis is Western Civiliation, which just so happens to be filled with Whites, ‘twould seem that such mythology is inherently less worthy due to Whiteness…

“Hobart and William Smith Colleges is offering a course next year to teach students how ‘objectivity’ and ‘meritocracy’ function as ‘white mythologies.’

“‘White Mythologies: Objectivity, Meritocracy, and Other Social Constructions’ is a sophomore-level course taught by Kendralin Freeman and Jason Rodriguez, who are sociology and anthropology professors, respectively.

“‘This course explores the history and ongoing manifestations of “white mythologies”—long-standing, often implicit views about the place of White, male, Euro-American subjects as the norm,’ explains the course description, which adds that students will also ‘explore how systematic logics that position “the West” and “whiteness” as the ideal manifest through such social constructions as objectivity, meritocracy, and race.'”

What Does Citizenship Mean When Non-Citizens Can Outvote You?

     California has for some time now demonstrated themselves to be hell bent on destroying any notion of citizenship in any way that matters. Not only may foreign nationals illegally in this country can practice law in California courts, but there are pushed to allow the same to sit in juries in judgment of American citizens and even to run for office.

     But now San Francisco (of course), has dispensed with the need to be a citizen in order to vote in some elections.

“In the November 2016 election, San Francisco voters passed Proposition N, Non-Citizen Voting in School Board Elections, by a vote of 54% to 46%.

“Proposition N is a Charter amendment that extends the voting rights in San Francisco School Board elections to non-citizen residents of San Francisco who are of legal voting age, not in prison or on parole for a felony conviction, and who are parents, legal guardians, or legally recognized caregivers of children under the age of 19 living in San Francisco.

“In May 2018, the Board of Supervisors adopted an ordinance amending the Municipal Elections Code to implement Proposition N by requiring the Department of Elections to develop a non-citizen voter registration form and other documents related to non-citizen voting in School Board elections. The ordinance also requires a notice (provided below) on non-citizen voter materials that any information provided to the Department may be obtained by the federal government.

“Non-citizen voting will be available at the next election for members of the Board of Education, scheduled for November 6, 2018, and at every Board of Education election until November 2022. After the November 2022 election, the opportunity for non-citizens to vote in School Board elections will expire unless the Board of Supervisors adopts an ordinance allowing it to continue.”

     Now, American children in San Francisco are not only every other citizen’s child, but now are under the aegis of foreign nationals, including those who are not present in the country legally.

Modern College Class Overthrowing the Government “Legally”

     The Eugene Lang College has a class wherein the students not only learn about how film can be used to undermine America, but actually be forced to participate in the same! From the course summary:

“This course will be on the one hand a class on how to contribute with creative means to meaningful political change, and on the other a production class on making a web show about taking a class on how to contribute with creative means to meaningful political change. The class will be co-taught by Screen Studies Professor Caveh Zahedi and Yes Men co-founder Jacques Servin. It will do two things: on the one hand, it will serve as a laboratory of ideas on how best to transform our country from the plutocracy it has become into a true democracy using the creative skills we happen to have on hand as artists, filmmakers, etc.; and on the other hand, it will be a class on producing and using media (in this case, a show about the class) in order to help disseminate mobilizing ideas—in this case, not only the specific change-oriented creative ideas that arise, but the more powerful mobilizing idea that anyone can use whatever skills happen to be on hand to resist tyranny and effect positive change. Students will be required to participate as actors, as crew, and as editors. If anyone is uncomfortable with the idea of being both in front of and behind the camera, then this course is not for you! Auditions will be held. Interested students should email Professor Caveh Zahedi, zahedic@newschool.edu with any questions.”

     All you really need to know about film being used to undermine America you can learn from actual Hollywood history and actual Hollywood films.

     Unsurprisingly, films intended to propagandize against purportedly evil regimes, such as “Battleship Potemkin“, are made by regimes that have already overthrown the old order. If one was truly oppressed, they wouldn’t be able to make major films calling for the overthrow of the current state of affairs, let alone have silly little classes whining about it.

Criminalizing the Drinking Straw

     Yet more proof that the more and more some need to virtue signal their environmental wokeness, the stupider the signaled virtue: Plastic straw bans. But what could be more woke than banning straws? Throwing people in jail for violating the ban!

“The city of Santa Barbara has passed an ordinance that will allow restaurant employees to be punished with up to six months of jail time or a $1,000 fine after a second offense of giving plastic straws to their customers.

“…

“Oh, and each individual straw counts as a separate infraction, meaning that if someone got busted handing out straws to a table of four people, he or she could end up facing years behind bars.”

     California, of late, due to overcrowding in jails has sought fit to turn many felonies into more minor misdemeanors, thus letting a myriad of true criminals out on the streets. That it takes giving out drinking straws to raise to the level of jailable criminality is telling about the twisted values that have destroyed a once golden state.

     Interestingly enough, the ordinance only bans “food providers” and “beverage providers” from handing out straws, and not some enterprising individual who does naught but sell straws in front of such an establishment…

The Left Are Obsessed About Childhood Sexuality

     If there is one thing that the Progressive Left have successfully swept under the rug, it is their penchant for the sexualization of children. Some do so ought sheer perversion and many others do so because they are insane; still others because they think it is the ultimate in “equality” (e.g. age is just a “social construct“) or that it is a form of “liberation” from the repressive individuality that prevents a true immanentization of the socialist eschaton. Moreover, their goal is normalization of sexuality and carnality for all ages.

     Perhaps most disturbing is that many of those who are pushing this the hardest are those who are not pedophiles and find no perverse pleasure in this, but seek only to mold the tabula rasa that is the child so that not only is sexuality dissevered from the sexual act (something already achieved in part via the normalization of same-sex “marriage”, but all emotional connection so that carnal pleasure is all that is left, which itself is supposed to wither away in some pseudo-Cultural Marxist sense to into a desexualized world free of biological sex and “gender”.

     This normalization has become increasingly open, particularly within academia, where pre-pubescent sexuality is lauded, such as from the Department of Sociology as the University of California, Santa Barbara.

“Parents and caregivers have a tremendous impact on the sexual development of their children, and should not take this lightly. How parents react to this relatively common activity influences the child’s future sexual behavior. Many children receive typically negative reactions from their parents when they are found masturbating, but self-stimulation is actually a natural form of self-exploration. This behavior should not be punished or discouraged”.

     Apparently an objective review of a culture is racist and those who study and teach about other cultures are “settler scholars“.

“Canada’s Mount Saint Vincent University is having second thoughts about assigning a white professor to teach a fall course on the controversial boarding schools that once educated the country’s indigenous children.

“It’s not that Martha Walls is unqualified as a scholar to teach ‘Selected Topics in North American History: Residential Schools,’ according to a Friday report by The Candian Press: She’s an expert in ‘Atlantic Canadian First Nations history.’

“It’s not that Mount Saint Vincent has closed its doors to indigenous faculty: It continues to actively recruit them.

“The problem is that Walls is a ‘settler scholar’ who comes to the subject as an outsider, not an indigenous person:

“‘Critics say only Indigenous people have the lived experience to understand the complex and cumulative ways they’ve been discriminated against, and that they should have the agency to teach their own history. …'”
