In the hopes of encouraging a more civil, and illuminating, discourse, here is another episode of William F. Buckley, Jr.’s “Firing Line”.
Whether the government should run a myriad of programs or function or let the private sector handle it is a debate that has been going on longer that any of us has been alive. Amongst the most contentious of proposals for privatization has been the school. In the first part of this two part debate, the proposition that we should move towards privatization, including schools, is discussed by William F.
