In the hopes of encouraging a more civil, and illuminating, discourse, here is another episode of William F. Buckley, Jr.’s “Firing Line”.
The post-Cold War era has seen presumptions of the future being repeatedly uprooted. So far, at least, the threat of nuclear destruction that we faced during the Cold War isn’t a current consideration for the future. Let us look back at soon after the end of the Cold War and the question of the threat of nuclear destruction in the new world order of a post-Cold War world as discussed by Willian F. Buckley, Jr., Hentry Kissinger, Henry Sokolski, Russell Seitz, and Douglas Feith in the third part of a three part series on the question.
Until next Friday.
