Firing Line Friday: Resolved: That the Senate Should Ratify the Proposed Panama Canal Treaties

In the hopes of encouraging a more civil, and illuminating, discourse, here is another episode of William F. Buckley, Jr.’s “Firing Line”.

In this day and age when we debated what the future should be, let us look back on a serious debate on the future of the Panama Canal, which is a question that still weighs upon us, with William F. Buckley, Jr., debating the question with Pat Buchanan, Elmo R. Zumwalt, Ronald Reagan, Roger W. Fontaine, James Burnham, Josn S. McCain, Ellsworth Bunker, and George F. Will.

     Until next Friday.
