Shut Up, the EU Parliament Explained

     The Eurocrats who run the European Union seem a bit disappointed with the people of Europe who are increasingly turning against the Eurocrats and towards more popularly appealing politicians:

“After Britain’s decision to leave the European Union, the rising popularity of anti-immigrant candidates like Geert Wilders in the Netherlands or far-right Marine Le Pen in France is worrying Europe’s political mainstream. Le Pen, who is running for the French presidency this spring, has promised to follow Britain’s lead.

“At the European Parliament, where elections are due in 2019, many say the need for action against hate speech, and strong sanctions for offenders, is long overdue.”

     And just what form does this “action against hate speech” take?

     Protecting the people of Europe from the debate of their own elected representatives in the EU Parliament:

“Press freedom organizations have raised concerns about censorship after Members of the European Parliament approved extraordinary measures to combat hate speech.

“MEPs granted the parliament’s president authority to pull the plug on live broadcasts of parliamentary debate in cases of racist speech or acts and to purge offending video or audio material from the online system.

“Critics say the rules are vaguely worded and could be manipulated or used as a tool of censorship.”

     It is bad enough that the people of Europe can not freely discuss political matters, with “incorrect” opinions, but now they are shielded from the open debate in the rubber-stamp that is the European Union Parliament!

Rivers Are People Too

     There have been plenty of insane attempts to grant the Earth legal “rights”.

     New Zealand has eclipsed them all by declaring a river to have the same legal rights as a human being. Yes, the Whanganui River is LITERALLY a person according to New Zealand.

“‘The reason we have taken this approach is because we consider the river an ancestor and always have,’ said Gerrard Albert, the lead negotiator for the Whanganui iwi [tribe].

“‘We have fought to find an approximation in law so that all others can understand that from our perspective treating the river as a living entity is the correct way to approach it, as in indivisible whole, instead of the traditional model for the last 100 years of treating it from a perspective of ownership and management.'”

     The minister for the treaty of Waitangi negotiations went on to say that the agreement “responds to the view of the iwi of the Whanganui river which has long recognised Te Awa Tupua through its traditions, customs and practice.”

     The traditions and customs of the common law and the Anglo-sphere ought to suffice. Embracing the “customs” and “traditions” at odd with reality really do need to be eschewed.

     To up the ante, the Indian state of Uttarakhand has declared two rivers, the Yamuna and the Ganges, to both be “living entities” with de facto human status:

“The court justified its ruling on the grounds that the rivers were ‘losing their very existence’ and the situation required ‘extraordinary measures to be taken to preserve and conserve the Rivers Ganga and Yamuna,’ using an alternative name for the Ganges.”

     How many hippies who whine about corporations not being people are swooning over a river being declared to have “its own legal identity with all the corresponding rights, duties and liabilities of a legal person”?

     Would damming a river be considered a form of rape or a form of slavery? Would diverting a river via aqueduct be kidnapping? Would drinking from that water be cannibalism? Would using that water so that downriver becomes dry be considered murder?

     This brings a whole new meaning to the sexualized term “motorboating”…

     A corporation is owned by human stockholders, is run by directors who are human. A river is just a ditch in the land whereover water flows. It isn’t even an actual living thing like a bird, a hobbit, or an ent!

     To put it bluntly, f**k this insane worldview.

Impurity of Essence

     The rule of law and democracy are two things that the Progressive Left claim to be fighting for, yet actually fight against. “Democracy“, to them, is not about majority rule, nor even about individuals actually having any say whatsoever about their own governance.

     They see democracy as not many voices, but of one voice: The Volonté Générale, a singular and motile will which springs forth Borglike from the masses. This Volonté Générale can only be legitimate when it is a perfect reflection of legitimate society. This legitimate society divides peolple into minitudes of pre-defined interest groups. Since, in their catechisms of their secular faith, kyriarchical traits, such as “Whiteness” or “heteronormativity” grants privilege and power within our society, which is similarly divinely revealed to be build upon oppression, those groups have an undo influence. Thus, to balance this over-influence in order to achieve a perfect balance and thus become a legitimate democratic society, it is insufficient just to achieve equality of representation, but to actually suppress the privileged voices, if not reduce their influence to less than zero.

     But their view towards legitimacy is not sufficient per se to elevate this “democratic” society towards a motile consciousness thus achieving apotheosis of the Volonté Générale as the true god that must be supplicated to. To achieve this apotheosis, the body of the god, i.e. the demos, must be purified of sin. This sin, then, is merely the impure thoughts unbecoming of divinity. To wit: Thoughtcrime is sin, and the body politic must be purged of impure thought in order to protect the purity and essence of said body’s democratic functions.

     Since the divine and legitimate democratic society is antithetical to such incorrect thinking, it follows that incorrect decisions—or even just impure motive—are declared antithetical to “democracy” as the Progressive Left see it, no matter how broad the support for said decisions. The corollary, of course, is that the pre-determined correct thinking is always democratic, even if great majorities stand against it.

     The Progressives’ “rule of law”, then, is not consist with the actual rule of law, nor is their view of “democracy” actually reflective of actual democracy. The declaration of impure thought or motive, then, taints any actual decision. This can be seen by the declaration of invalidity of both of President Trump’s executive orders regarding the temporary travel bans.

     Because the executive orders are declared to be motivated by animus, they are considered invalid, even if the orders themselves are not racist or that there are legitimate non-animus related reasons therefor. However, once declared to be sinful by animus, the positions are always considered invalid because no matter what, advancing those positions, even if they are acknowledged as otherwise being legitimate, also advances the declared animus.

     By declaring that everything is motivated by an animus, the person so accused ceased to be a person and become nothingmore than animus incarnate. By declaring something motivated by animus, it is forever prohibited even if there is a clear non-animus rational or even if there is no animus, becuase the the “animus” will have been implemented even if the measure is neutral and there is no actual animus. “Animus”, then becomes like “White Privilege” or “Heteronormativity”, a mystical miasma of malfeasance – a spiritual evil.

A Word of Warning for Pineapple Hating Presidents Everywhere

     The following message from Cuthbert Aloysius Coddington III, President of the Amalgamated International Fruit Company, delivered via telegram as delivered by a young boy who looked like that one girl from “The Go-Go’s”…

It has come to our attention that the President of Iceland, by the name of Guðni, declared he wanted to pass a ban on pineapple as a topping for this Italian pie called “pizza”.

I kindly reminded this Guðni fellow that we have toppled many a government and overrun countries of fruit-hatted peoples for threatening far less—why just recently we secured access to vast pineapple fields in the Sandwich Islands!

He has since backpedaled from his threat, which was wise of him. However, he has decided to double down on his perverse food fetishes by declaring for the addition of fish, presumably “Hákarl”, to this “pizza”.

But that is between him and the poor denizens of Iceland.

Human Animal Hybrid Chimeras Mean One Thing: Catgirls

…and also other assorted kemonomimi!

     A recent peer-reviewed article explored creating human-mammalian hybrid chimera, such that the resulting living being would have select traits of each species:

Interspecies blastocyst complementation enables organ-specific enrichment of xenogenic pluripotent stem cell (PSC) derivatives. Here, we establish a versatile blastocyst complementation platform based on CRISPR-Cas9-mediated zygote genome editing and show enrichment of rat PSC-derivatives in several tissues of gene-edited organogenesis-disabled mice. Besides gaining insights into species evolution, embryogenesis, and human disease, interspecies blastocyst complementation might allow human organ generation in animals whose organ size, anatomy, and physiology are closer to humans. To date, however, whether human PSCs (hPSCs) can contribute to chimera formation in non-rodent species remains unknown. We systematically evaluate the chimeric competency of several types of hPSCs using a more diversified clade of mammals, the ungulates. We find that naïve hPSCs robustly engraft in both pig and cattle pre-implantation blastocysts but show limited contribution to post-implantation pig embryos. Instead, an intermediate hPSC type exhibits higher degree of chimerism and is able to generate differentiated progenies in post-implantation pig embryos.

     So, we can loot forward to kemonomimi with aspects of cows and piggies.

     This is solid and concrete science which can—and will—lead to development, of other mammalian kemonomimi, including, of course, 猫耳 (AKA Catgirls). Finally, Federal funding well spent!

     Some people question the wisdom of genetic engineering, particularly when it involves creating life from nothingness or creating human-animal hybrids. The counterpoint, however, is far more convincing:

     What, then, could the combination of legislative power plus the power of alcohol bring?

You can not operate a motor vehicle when you’ve had two beers but you can make laws that effect people’s lives forever when you’re half in the bag? That’s outrageous!'”

     She went on to state that “People have file cabinets full of booze“.

     It begs the question: Is what a legislature passes while drunk really worse than the insanity that they’d pull while sober?

     The College Democrats of Elizabethtown College have decided the best way to deal with a certain problematic racial group is to have them where a distinctively shaped and colored symbol to remind them of who they are and to teach to know their place…

‘The Elizabethtown College Democrats are launching a project Saturday in which they will ask students and others to wear a white puzzle piece pin every day to encourage them to think deeply about how racial identity affects their life, directly or indirectly.

“The project was borrowed and adapted from a Lutheran pastor’s similar effort in Wisconsin.

“Aileen Ida, president of the College Democrats, said she believes the conversation on white privilege

“…

“‘This project will encourage people to have conversations about race and how their inherent white privilege has a part in the systematic oppression of minorities — whether or not they purposefully participate in the system,’ she said.”

     But it’s just Politically Correct fashion “flair” to demonstrate “wokeness“, right?

     We all know who else wanted others to wear pieces of “flair”…

Decolonizing the Meal

     It is well established that when the Left qualify the word “justice”, they mean anything but. “Food Justice“, then means, if properly and fully implemented, Holodomor (if we are lucky). Now Sen. Cory Booker has embraced this insanity, which has become quite widespread in academia.

     The latest example?

     A class by California State University Fullerton Professor Dana Collins about how Capitalism = starvation (because Holodomor was orchestrated by Kulaks, dontchaknow…):

“A new course at Cal State Fullerton aims to bring students’ attention to the ‘key social inequalities’ involved in the production and consumption of food in the modern world.

“[To help student] ‘understand how all food has a social life, which includes its production within a global food system that rests upon and reproduces global social inequalities;’ and to motivate them to ‘learn about, imagine, and act upon the possibilities of food justice!'”

     Further, the requirement for the class requires students to write “a recipe that is decolonized”…

     This notion of “food justice” must be understood in the Leftist doctrine of “equity“. Ultimately, the Left believe in neither equality of opportunity nor of equality of outcome. They believe in “equity”, a concept that dictates that each minitude of people have a proportional share of the final input.

     This Progressive idea of “democracy” means that privileged groups must have their privilege compensated by elevating the voice of the oppressed, even if this means silencing some altogether. Thus, “democracy”, to the Left, requires that “some… are more equal than others”.
