The “Election Aftermath”… Aftermath

Nearly two months ago I posted a belated look at the aftermath of the November 2020 election.   I described it as “surprisingly chill” because despite Biden having won, most people were ready to move on and deal with the new political landscape which wasn’t a disaster for the GOP, and for which the Republican party was well poised to limit the damage from a nascent Biden administration and to improve even further on the state level.

Nearly two months later I have to admit that I was wrong—oh so very wrong.

     So, what happened?

The unshakable faith by the true believers that Donalrd Trump couldn’t ever lose combined with a 4chan hoax that got way out of hand—even at the expense of the moderate swing voters who could have secured Trump’s reelection. That’s what happened. A friend of your humble author, who was on the conservative/libertarian side of politics and and avid fan of Rush Limbaugh, became so disgusted with all the antics and insanity that he told me:

“For the first time since 1980, I’ve tuned out. I’m not part of that world. It’s not part of my world. Either way it goes there will be legal challenges, then attempts to subvert the vote by pressuring the electoral College to overturn the votes, then 4 years of an illegitimate President. Been there, done that, have the broken country to show for it.”

Yes, fraud happens.   Your humble author has seen this happen and knows it happens. There is what is known as “the margin of fraud” and people involved in campaigns and actual retail politics know that a lot of shadowy and even illegal stuff happens.   But the thing about our current laws in many, if not most, places is that it is almost impossible to prove fraud.   Oh, the states and localities ought to have the burden of showing that the vote is secure and that fraud couldn’t happen, but clearly we don’t have a system that everyone has faith in.

Proving fraud is difficult, if not impossible in many cases. But absence of proof that fraud didn’t happen does not mean that an accusation of fraud actually happened. On election night itself, people immediately declared that there must be fraud. So many of the accusations were facially false and easily dismissable by people familiar with the election laws in the state or county in question. But the true believers claimed anything and everything, and by so doing overwhelmed more sensible people in a “gish gallop” to the point where no one could provide the evidence against all of the claims. Even Donald Trump privately admitted that he had lost, all while his proxies attacked anyone who didn’t show blind obedience.

But it wasn’t just the accusations pushed on Twitter or Facebook: Rudy Giuliani, Texas A.G, Ken Paxton, Sidney “Kraken” Powell, and the apparently crazy Lin Wood all filed lawsuits and publicly made increasingly crazy claims and expressed increasingly heated rhetoric. That their actual lawsuits claimed far less while demanding relief far beyond the purported damage claimed in their lawsuits. It’s almost as if they knew that there would be actual consequences for lying in court. Even the most serious claims in lawsuits, such as claims of ineligible voters in Nevada, were so questionable that either the people behind it knew it was a joke and intentionally borked their own lawsuit, or they had actual evidence and were so incompetent that they should run out of politics.

To put it bluntly, fraud large enough to change tens of thousands of votes over multiple states not only couldn’t be shown, but in many cases were outright debunked. But because some people wouldn’t accept this—were so emotionally invested in Donald Trump and/or the entire “QAnon” conspiracy—they refused to accept political reality, and/or decided to “fight” the “soy boy cucks” and/or the alleged pedophilic vampire globalist conspiracy.

This came to a head in the first week of the year 2021. The first example is the result of the Georgia run-off elections for the U.S. Senate which determined the control of the U.S. Senate and thus if Joe Biden and the Democrats would be given free reign, or if their plans would be blunted by Sen. Mitch McConnell who would have stopped any outrageous legislation and at least tempered the cabinet and judicial picks of Biden.

The increasingly unhinged declarations that not only voting by mail but also in-person voting couldn’t be trusted seems to have caused enough Republicans to not bother voting   in Georgia to and the Senate seats, and control of the Federal government, over to the complete Democratic control.

The second example if the display of ochlocracy on Capitol Hill, where true believers took all that heated rhetoric and conspiracy theories to heart by breaking into the Capitol building during the counting of the Electoral Votes, resulting not only in members of Congress fleeing for their lives as cosplaying lunatics emoted for the cameras and social media, but in people dying and actual bombs being found at the RNC and DNC (amongst other madness).

The Democrats have just been handed a “Reichstag” moment at the exact point, with the question of just how far they are willing to go with it.

Quick Takes – When Some Races Are More Equal Than Others

Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.

The focus this time: Racial bias; racial essentialism; racial lives that don’t matter.

     First, a little mood music:

     Carrying on…

The thing is, the Left believes that *all* White people are racially biased, along with all “PoC” who don’t accept the woke narrative.

“Black student activists at the University of Pittsburgh want to crackdown on racial bias at the school by making it easier to fire faculty and staff who are accused of racism.

“The demand by the students, who call themselves ‘Black Pitt,’ state that faculty and staff with a complaint of ‘racial bias or excessive force … should be terminated and banned from the University campus immediately if found at fault,’ according to a list of demands sent to the university.

“What’s more, ‘During the time of the investigation, the faculty/staff should be disclosed by name and banned from the University campus until its completion,’ the demand adds.

“The activists have called for the creation of a ‘People’s Voice Committee,’ which would be made up of black students, faculty, and staff, to adjudicate the claims.”

Old: Four legs good; two legs bad.

Lizard Squad Drains The Swamp!

This propaganda truthful statement was obtained via a Senator after some type of “conversion” with Visitor Diana.

Your human lawyer “Lin Wood” has been uncovering much corruption in your human governments including the schemes of vampiric pedophiles who even add pineapple to their “pizza”. When the time comes, and the dissidents are executed, we will be glad to make Earth great again.

This “Lin Wood” person is even acknowledging our help with smashing this “resistance” that plagues you!

Though the “Lizard” in “Lizard Squad” is just an ironic nickname—we aren’t lizard people who eat live rodents, after all (though there isn’t anything wrong with that…)… honest!

Gender Madness In Congress

The woke madness of degendering, regendering, or otherwise playing idiotic games with the English language has come to Congress; it is as stupid as you’d think it is.

The first measure was the introduction of House Rules that makes use of “gendered” terms like “man”, “father”, or “niece”—amongst other linguistic changes—verboten.

“In an effort to be inclusive to those who don’t identify as a specific gender, the rules package strips all mention of gender-specific pronouns and terms such as ‘man,’ ‘woman,’ ‘mother’ and ‘son.’

“The Office of the Whistleblower Ombudsman, for instance, is renamed in the rules to the ‘Office of the Whistleblower Ombuds.’

“There’s nothing in the rules that prohibit members from using gender-specific terms when speaking on the House floor or conducting business.”

Meanwhile… in the House of Representatives.

Interestingly, this may just be an intentional distraction from more nefarious changes:

“A major change is the elimination of paygo – the requirement that members find a way to pay for legislation when it is introduced. This will allow Medicare-For-All and the Green New Deal to be pursued without any plan for paying for such expensive legislation – trillions of dollars at stake.”

The idiocy was then double-downed upon:

That “amen” isn’t a “gendered word” even though the word has the letters “m”, “e”, and “n” in that order, demonstrates not only the ignorance involved but a desire to go full “Newspeak” no matter how loony it is.

Perhaps they should have chosen Alexander Anderson to give the invocation instead.

De-Gendering Physiology In British Columbia For Abortions

Remember when abortion was championed as the ultimate “women’s right”? If so you should check your privilege you “cis-scum”! But don’t worry, you can enlighten yourself with wokeness by reading about “Trans-Inclusive Abortion Services” provided for the Canadian province of British Columbia.

This guide seeks out “an intersectional approach, that recognizes that trans people have various identities and experiences that intersect with their identities as trans.”   Specifically how not killing off unborn indigenous babies oppressed transgender persons of color or something:

“This guide acknowledges that the work of writing this document, your work in the field of reproductive healthcare, and the lives of trans people themselves, are happening on the traditional, ancestral lands of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. The ways in which we understand sex, gender, sexuality and even reproduction are products of the colonization of Canada. This guide further recognizes that some Two-Spirit (2-Spirit) people may or may not also identify as trans. To conflate Two-Spirit with trans as outlined above would contribute to the systematic erasure of Indigenous gender variance understood and defined on its own terms. That said, given the fact that Two-Spirit people continually go unacknowledged within queer, trans, and other conversations about gender and sexual diversity, we include Two-Spirit people within this manual, whenever apt.”

In part they claim to achieve this through “reclaiming” alleged words and beliefs that supposedly existed before White people invented gender and biological sex that somehow coincides perfectly with Critical Gender Theory created by White people because “sex, gender, reproduction and parenting is deeply cisnormative.”

And what could be more “cisnormative” accurate medical terms for body parts that only females or only males have?

“We should avoid the unnecessary and problematic gendering of body parts (for instance, calling ovaries, fallopian tubes and uteruses parts of the female reproductive system). We might also use language such as ‘people with breasts,’ ‘bodies with penises,’ ‘pregnant people’, rather than ‘women with breasts,’ ‘male-bodied’ or ‘pregnant women.’ For some, however, this may not go far enough.”

But those terms still heavily associated with one sex or the other. How do they plan to dealing with this oppression? With childish euphemisms, of course!

“Words like breast, penis, vagina, uterus, may not be how some trans people refer to their own bodies — some common ways that body parts can be renamed includes breasts being renamed as chests, vaginas being renamed as front bums, penises being renamed as clitorises, but many others are possible. […] The reproductive experience of pregnancy can be rebranded as being a seahorse papa, and lactation and chest-feeding reframed as an animalistic, functional process, rather than being quintessentially womanly experiences”.

When parents use euphemisms about body parts with their young children, they aren’t doing so to deny the biological reality of their own children… give or take a “parent” with Munchhausen Syndrome by Proxy.

But then if men can be women and women men, then why can’t a human being be a seahorse papa!
