100 Years Ago Began The War to End All Wars

     This marks the 100^th anniversary of the First World War, which had inaccurately been deemed the “war to end all wars.”

     Four years after it began, on the 11^th hour of the 11^th day of the 11^th month, the guns fell silent.

     Though begun as “Armistice Day,” Veterans Day has expanded in the United States as a day for all those brave men and women who fight to keep us free.
