Today is Victims of Communism Day. It is also “May Day”, where “useful idiots” march and demonstrate in free countries, while those who have to actually live under Communism are made to march lest they face dire consequences.
With the uprising in Venezuela, we ought to not only apply our immediate attention to the people of Venezuela, but remind ourselves of the consequences of a Latin American nation that has to suffer for a better part of a century under a Communist regime, namely, Cuba, and also of the brave women who dare stand against such totalitarian dilapidation, including the “Ladies in White”.
