From Tolerance to the Crushing of Dissent

Michael Sam, a football player made famous for being homosexual, quite publicly kissed his boyfriend publicly on camera in a rather gratuitous manner.  Miami Dolphin’s Don Jones tweeted in response to this “OMG” and when asked about that tweet responded “horrible.”

What sadly, we’ve all come to expect to happen, has happened.  Jones was punished with a fine and sentences to “education training”:

“Miami Dolphins safety Don Jones has been fined an undisclosed amount and excused from all team activities until such time that he undergoes and completes educational training for his recent comments made on social media during the NFL Draft.”

“Tolerance” was just an excuse to normalize their beliefs. Now that they have power, it becomes a danger, and thus, an anathema.

There is not, now-a-days, a higher state of being for the Left than the intolerance of tolerance.  Even standing up to the right of people to not agree with the queer dialectic just labels oneself as a thought criminal, and effectively outcast from polite society.

While not strictly a 1st Amendment question, it is yet another example of how a private comment is used by the proverbial pitchfork wielding mob to destroy dissenters.

     It is persecution.

     It is bullying.
