The Woke White-Free Future of the BBC

The BBC, like many organizations, recruits and has internships for young adults. For example:

“Are you looking to gain experience at the heart of broadcast journalism? Do you have an understanding of the subjects affecting 16-25 year olds? This could be the role for you…

“Newsbeat is the flagship news programme on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra. Newsbeat is produced by BBC News but differs from the BBC’s other news programmes in its remit to provide news tailored for a specifically younger audience.

“The successful trainee will be passionate and engaged in the world of journalism and will also offer a different perspective on stories that affect the key target audience of 16-25 year-olds.”

So, just what type of future leader with “different perspective[s]” is the BBC looking for?

“This traineeship is only open to candidates from a black, Asian or non-white ethnic minority background”

The Right of Every Free Adult

The right to keep and bear arms ought to be interminably linked with the right to vote. After all, if we can’t trust someone with a personal arm, then how can we trust them with the power of law over all of us?

Once one had reached the age of majority, they are an adult and ought to be free to exercise all of their rights. As citizens, this means that once you hit 18, you may legally vote thanks to the 26th Amendment guaranteeing it. Yet another, more fundamental and more ancient, right is denied 18 to 20 year old citizens who have never lost their freedom due to criminal activity nor have been adjudicated as incapable of running their own lives due to mental illness or mental handicap: “The right to keep and bear arms” when it comes to handguns, which is also protected by the Constitution.

Thankfully, one Congressmen wishes to correct this denial of rights to adult Americans:

The right to personal arms is a right going back to pre-Norman England where any freeman had the right to personal arms, including the Seax, the “assault pistol” of its time.

Google vs. Witches

Self-Declared “Witches“, usually of the Tumblr variety, have always prided themselves as being on the side of social justice or Bernie Sanders, while being against the long-gone Confederate States of America, gentrification, or Donald Trump.

Now, they have to fight an unexpected enemy: Google.

“There is no scientific evidence that magic exists, but thousands of people involved in witchcraft are convinced they can make magic potions and cast spells using materials found in our natural environment.

“[Marian Green, 77, a seasoned white witch and author] said: ‘Technology is killing magic. We do not need to be separated from the natural world, but an awful lot of young people grow up today distanced from nature.

“‘Young people don’t go outside. When I was a kid there was no technology and I spent all day outside.’

“She said schools may teach children about the woods, but they might go home and say ‘Mum, what is an oak tree?'”

Quick Takes – Genderbending the Children: In Psychology; With Child-Sized Fake Penises; Against Christian Parents

Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.

The focus this time: Trans All the Children!

First, a little bit of mood music:

     Carrying on…

Once upon a time, doctors tried to treat patients and not feed into their self-destructive delusions

” More than a decade ago, pediatrician Michelle Cretella treated a male patient named ‘Andy.’ Andy enjoyed playing with girls’ toys and made friends with girls more easily than with boys. He was eventually referred to a therapist for his gender confusion.

“According to Cretella, the breakthrough came when Andy told the therapist that he believed his parents would love him more if he were a girl. Cretella claims that the therapist looked further into this admission and found that Andy’s confusion may have stemmed from the birth of his little sister, who had special needs and required a lot of attention from parents. The theory was that Andy gravitated toward girly behavior to get the attention of potentially neglectful parents.

“Though Cretella did not discuss the ultimate resolution to Andy’s gender confusion, she said that today a patient like Andy would be wrongfully referred to a gender specialist or clinic instead of a therapist. The treatment, she said, would be focused on supporting that child’s inclination toward the opposite sex, which could lead to more extreme treatment in adolescence like hormone blockers and organ modification.”

The Unqueering of Marriage

It is an axiomatic statement of faith on the Left that they are on the “right side of history” with history marching ever “vorwärts” inexorably towards the promised utopia. In their secular faith, anything that does not lead to their Progressive utopia must be destroyed by hook or crook, democracy be damned, while anything that immanentizes their eschaton, once achieved, must become an unalterable and unquestionable truety, democracy again be damned.

Even such a fundamental pillar of society as marriage has not been immune to their inexorably march, even California’s passing of Prop. 8 was quickly quashed by a not-disinterested judge… until now.

     Bermuda has repealed “same-sex marriage’:

“The British territory of Bermuda has become the first jurisdiction to roll back same-sex marriage, less than one year after the unions were legalized by the socially conservative island’s supreme court.

“Governor John Rankin signed the Domestic Partnership Act into law Wednesday reversing the rights of same-sex partners to wed. The legislation allows any couple to enter into a domestic partnership and gives same-sex couples similar rights to those enjoyed by opposite-sex couples.”

Medical Murder Mania: From the Α to the Ω

Death, Rx

‘Twould seem that is isn’t just enough to allow doctors and nurses to snuff out human life under the false guise of “healthcare”… they must be mandated to do it, regardless of whether that life is yet to be born, or was naturally progressing to its end.

In the U.K., a midwife was forced out because she refused to supervise abortions at work.

“It was in 2014, after a gruelling six-year battle that had taken Mary, now 63, and a fellow midwife, Connie Wood, all the way to the Supreme Court in London that they finally lost their case.

“The judgment effectively decreed that while midwives can opt out of ‘frontline’ abortion work, those in senior positions … still have to supervise”.

So hell bent is the NHS to make sure that every senior staff member be complicit, that they were willing to push her out despite the dearth of experienced professionals:

“What a tragedy it is that this compassionate and experienced woman’s determination to uphold her principles led to the NHS losing her when it is currently suffering a 3,500 shortfall in midwife numbers.”

Meanwhile, in Wisconsin, doctors may soon be forced to kill their patients or send their patients off to another doctor for termination:

“A new bill in Wisconsin would force every doctor asked for an assisted suicide by a legally eligible patient to either do the deed or find a doctor who will.”

     From the text ofAB 216:

“(1) No health care facility or health care provider may be charged with a crime, held civilly liable, or charged with unprofessional conduct for any of the following:

“(a) Failing to fulfill a request for medication, except that failure of an attending physician to fulfill a request for medication constitutes unprofessional conduct if the attending physician refuses or fails to make a good faith attempt to transfer the requester’s care and treatment to another physician who will act as attending physician under this chapter and fulfill the request for medication.”

Quick Takes – Fundamental Transformation: English-Free Pledge of Allegiance; De-Westernized Western Civilization; Non-Swedish Swedish Heritage

Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.

     The focus this time:  White-Out.

First, a little bit of mood music:

     Carrying on…

A member of New Mexico member of the Las Cruces Public Schools, Maria Flores, wants the Pledge of Allegiance to be recited… in Spanish.

“The pledge has customarily only been recited in English at the start of LCPS board meetings. But school officials say the change hearkens back to New Mexico’s Spanish-speaking heritage.

“‘We are a bilingual state,’ said LCPS board member Terrie Dallman. ‘We are supposed to be providing education, especially our second-language learners if their primary language is Spanish.’

“Dallman, a former teacher, said the pledge of allegiance was recited in Spanish in several elementary school classrooms when she taught. And some middle schools carry out the practice, too. She said she supports Flores’ proposal.”
