Quick Takes – Mis-gendering – Mis-gendering Students; Mis-gendering Classmates; Mis-gendering Compromise

Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.

The focus this time: Mis-gender all the things!!1!

First, a little education on how to be cis-normative:

     Carrying on…

Apparently it is illegal in the U.K. to refer to a person by pronouns associated with their biological sex…

“A teacher who was accused of ‘misgendering’ a child was told by police that she had committed a hate crime.

“The teacher, who claimed they were a ‘grammatical purist’, refused to acknowledge that the pupil self-identified as a boy and failed to use the pupil’s preferred pronouns of ‘he’ or ‘him’.

“It comes after warnings that schools are ‘sowing confusion’ in children’s minds by over-promoting transgender issues, and that children are being encouraged to ‘unlearn’ the difference between boys and girls.”

Legally Motherless in Britain

Outside of science fiction, give or take some mitochondrial DNA, it still take a man and a women to make a baby, with the man becoming a father and the woman becoming a mother. Legally, in the U.K., this may no longer be considered true.

“A baby could become the first person without a legal mother if a transgender man wins a historic court battle.

“Lawyers representing the parent told a judge that he had been biologically able to get pregnant and give birth but had legally become a man when the child was born.

“The man wants to be identified as the child’s ‘father’ or ‘parent’ on a birth certificate, however a birth registrar told the man the law requires people who give birth to children to be registered as mothers.”

This is because laws until recently in both the United States and the United Kingdom recognized that “man” meant “biological male”, and that a “father” was a “biological male” who had sired offspring while a “woman” meant a “biological female” with the “mother” being a “biological female” who had had a child. This still is the case for the vast majority of people who haven’t been sold on the contemporary gender madness.

But these words have been appropriated so that they have no objective meaning and no purpose except to “smash the gender binary and cis-normativity”. The words which still meant something from the past will be co-opted to mean something that they didn’t, and people’s use of the old meaning will continue to be exploited until a rectification of names.

Just When You Thought The Rotherham Rape Gang Scandal Couldn’t Get Any Worse…

     …it does.

The rape/grooming gang epidemic in the U.K. has already seen the government turn a blind-eye, at best, and actively cover up the epidemic of men of [REDACTED] faith and [REDACTED] ethnicity. Some police have even partaken in the sex trafficked underaged girls, and now in Rotherham it seems that this may have gone up to the very top: Two Rotherham council members have been accused of having sexual relations with some of the victims.

“The complaints against the two Rotherham councillors ‘are understood to have been sent to the National Crime Agency, which is investigating child-sex crimes in the town,’ according to The Times, which helped expose the abuse in Rotherham and published confidential documents that pointed towards police and council knowledge of the abuse in 2012.

“The news comes on the same day that a much-anticipated independent inspection report by former Victims’ Commissioner Louise Casey declared Rotherham Borough Council ‘not fit for purpose’.

“The findings make uncomfortable reading for councillors in a town that has been at the centre of one of the country’s worst abuse scandals. The inquiry was set up to ascertain the extent of any cover-up and look at the treatment of whistleblowers by Rotherham following last year’s damning report .

“It discovered a culture of bullying, sexism, suppression and misplaced ‘political correctness’ and a ‘deep-rooted’ culture of cover-ups, reports the BBC.”

Outlawing Politically Incorrect Speech in South Africa

There is a new call to outlaw speech that does not conform to the pre-determined truth in South Africa. Specifically, to make it a crime to consider Apartheid to not be akin to the Holocaust or Holodomor.

“On 15 May 2018, South Africa’s last ‘extremist’ organisation, AfriForum, through its henchman CEO Kallie Kriel, denied that apartheid was a crime against humanity, claiming that there were not enough people killed during apartheid to justify it being called a crime against humanity.

“Naturally, a backlash ensued against Kriel and AfriForum, as predictable as they have become in their racist and anti-black rumblings, their going against the United Nations declaration of apartheid as a crime against humanity (resolution 2202 A (XXI) of 16 December 1966) and endorsement (resolution 556 (1984) of 23 October 1984) was crossing the line.”

This isn’t even about denying Apartheid occurred or disputing any factual evidence, but of outlawing a counter-narrative. Certainly there are those who would claim that opposition to such a speech ban is racism, but his isn’t about racism or even Apartheid itself, but rather all about free speech, which does not and can not exist if you can not disagree with the government and those who control it.

Because a small fringe group that does not have power nor ever will doesn’t think that Apartheid raises to the level of a “crime against humanity”, many want to outlaw statements that the government does not approve of. Indeed, saying that Apartheid wasn’t tantamount to genocide will not cause harm or in any way somehow reconstruct Apartheid.

“This need to uphold freedom of speech on one hand and prevent harms caused by speech, such as denying the tragedy of the Holocaust or any other killings, shows how serious we consider such mass violations of humanity and how democracy remains a human endeavour that we must shape with our values and with truth.”

To understand the magnitude of the how little some people care for free speech when they unabashedly considers Europe, and Germany specifically, a paragon of free speech and association.

“Under German law, Holocaust denial constitutes a crime and carries a sentence of up to five years in jail. In November 2017, A German court sentenced an 89-year-old woman to 14 months in prison for Holocaust denial. This is amazing considering that Europe presents itself as a standard-bearer of freedom of speech and freedom of association.”

Rather than justice or equality, this comes across as yet another step-wise move to revenge.

“Kriel does not seem to appreciate the magnitude of what he has said, not only as a great insult to black South Africans but as a risk to Afrikaner nationalism itself and the future of Afrikaners.

“…

” No one has really been held accountable for apartheid, despite the UN recognising it as a crime way back in the 1970s.

“…

“What is clear is that the black benevolence of choosing to forget the past has not led to white people changing how they feel in the deeper recesses of their senses about black people.”

Considering that the Afrikaners feared being put into concentration camps (which had in fact happened to them less than 100 yeas prior), and still justifiably fear the ANC taking up Zanu-PF style policies—or worse—this call for censorship and the veiled threats with not-so veiled hostility ought to raise more than mere concern.

Happy Flag Day, 2018

There are many historical flags associated with the United States, particularly during the War of Independence.

One such flag is the Bennington Flag:

The Bennington flag is a version of the American flag associated with the American Revolution Battle of Bennington, from which it derives its name.

Like many Revolution era flags, the Bennington features 13 stars and 13 stripes, symbolic of the 13 American colonies that were in a state of rebellion against Great Britain. The Bennington version is easily identified by a large ’76’ in the canton, recalling the year 1776, when the Declaration of Independence was signed. Another distinctive feature of the Bennington flag is the arrangement of the 13 stripes, with white being outermost (rather than red being outermost as in the current flag). Also, its stars have seven points each (instead of the current five) and the blue canton is taller than on other flags, spanning nine instead of seven of the thirteen stripes.

The Bennington flag is a popular version of the American flag, and many historic flag dealers carry it. The large ’76’ makes it easily identifiable as banner from the American Revolution, evoking Spirit of ’76 nostalgia.

Infanticide and the Ignoble Savage

“Before Western Civilization showed up, it was a happy place. They had flowering meadows and rainbow skies, and rivers made of chocolate, where the children danced and laughed and played with gumdrop smiles.”

— Leftists of Pallor, everywhere

One of the most racist and denigrating tropes is that of the “noble savage”, the morally pure and utopian indigenous who was in harmony with nature and communed in a gender-free non-hierarchical collective of Progressive-idolized bliss. This fetishization has gotten to the point where the utopian nature of pre-Western Civilization tainted peoples is held as an absolute place of purity and anything offensive to modern minds is dismissed with the claim that other cultures, no matter how horrible they may seem, are just as valid, if not more so, than Western Civilizations. This ignores that “[t]he only way that incompatible things can be equal is if they are equally valueless“. This also ignores horrible tribal practices, which even if there were “survival of the fittest” reasons back in the day, hold no place in the modern world.

Sadly, it is Brazil that leads the way with treating native peoples as being outside the protection of the law, with infanticide and child murder so horrible that even the British NHS would be in shock. This is not an academic question, but one of, literally, life and death:

California To Ration Water

California has a new law that severely restricts how much water a person can use.

“In 2022, the new indoor water standard will be 55 gallons per person, per day. by 2030, it will fall to 50 gallons.
“…

“An 8-minute shower uses about 17 gallons of water, a load of laundry up to 40, and a bathtub can hold 80 to 100 gallons of water.”

California used to invest in water infrastructure, but now environmental restrictions and a new feudal class happily insulated from the unwashed serfs now means that a basic necessity of life is rationed.

Fleeing the Venezuelan Hellhole

Chavez and then Maduro after him took an oil-rich and relatively prosperous country and turned it into a hellhole with a little “21st-Century Socialism“. And yes, it was socialism.

Unsurprisingly, people who can no longer cast an honest vote are instead voting with their feet: Over one million have fled to Columbia alone. People in important professions are fleeing because of bad conditions caused by socialism, which just adds to the downward spiral of the country, as does those who dare stay and protest getting assaulted by police.
