At the Vice-Presidential Debate, Vice-President Joe Biden harangued Rep. Paul Ryan for “putting two wars on a credit card” by voting to authorize the use of force against Afghanistan and Iraq.
Turns out Biden was fibbing.
The Free Beacon has pointed out that Biden lied: He in fact voted FOR BOTH WARS! Biden was a yea vote on S. J. Res. 23 (107th Congress), which was a “joint resolution to authorize the use of United States Armed Forces against those responsible for the recent attacks launched against the United States.” Biden also voted yea on H. J. Res. 114 (107th Congress), which was a “joint resolution to authorize the use of United States Armed Forces against Iraq.”
With all the “Bush lied! People Died!” Moon-battery that went on during the Bush years, perhaps it is time to update that little chant to the far more accurate and honest: “Biden Lied! People Died!
